I purchased a leather Stressless brand chair and ottoman in December 2018. This product was made in Norway. The price of the pair was $1,999. This chair and ottoman was part of a ~$12,000 furniture purchase at MIA Home Trends on Sunrise Blvd in Fort Lauderdale.
After 4 months of ownership, the leather in the seat of the chair has cracked and become discolored. I called the salesman (John L.) to complain and was told to send pictures to him - which I did. After presumably reviewing the pictures, John L told me "it must be dirt or dye that has rubbed off your blue jeans." I don't own blue jeans

JOHN thank you for amazing customer service! Talk about going above and beyond!!!! The hydraulic in my guest bedroom's storage bed broke. The designer who did my apartment was long gone but I knew where she purchased the bed from and so my journey began. I called MIA Trends and John helped me recreate the history of the sale to find out which exact unit it was, find the manufacturer (who by the way doesn't make the bed any longer), order the right replacement part and then arrange for his team to come to install. It was not as easy as it sounds by the way ... but John was a consummate

Went into MIA because of the modern style you see from the window. We had had an entire condo to furnish. We found so many things. Daisy's help was paramount in completing our condo! She gave us the best service you can imagine from finding things to meet my crazy demands, to following up with suppliers on our orders, to ensuring flawless after sales service. We even got patio furniture. If you are shopping for new furniture this place is a MUST!

I redecorated my entire bedroom and living room with the designer Angela. She came to the house, measured the rooms, gave options based on lighting and other decor. The furniture she recommended suited the spaces so lovely. She even recommended tile choices for my flooring and bath. I was so impressed with her attention to detail, furniture quality, delivery and immediate response to every question I had. And trust me, I am not easy to work with since I am constantly changing my mind. She stayed patient with me and over delivered. The quality of the pieces were amazing. I am extremely satisfied

My wife and I had an awesome experience with Daisy Williams from Mia Home Trends regarding Hunter Douglas Window shades. She worked to meet our schedule, budget parameters and under promised and over delivered! Communication was excellent, including follow up and post install care. Installation was a breeze with Eduardo, who left the install as if he was never there. I highly recommend Mia Home Trends for Hunter Douglas Window shades. Go for the PowerView--they are amazing!

I purchased 3 counter hight barstools at Mia. The fabric is microfiber and the frames are espresso finished wood.
The stools have an upholstered back and seat and are of good quality and were an outstanding value for the price.
I have owned them for over two years and they have help up under daily use.
They are recommended.

Zero stars is not an option, so I had to settle for 1. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and shop somewhere else.
1. 2013/11/01: Was told that everything was in stock and would be delivered in 4 weeks, except for the bed which would take less than 8 weeks.
2. 2013/11/05: Order was placed.
3. 2013/11/17: I stopped by MIA to get an update on the order and was told that the couch would be delivered in the first week of January. Just to be clear, I approached MIA, they did not approach me to update me on the status.
4. 2013/12/11: Partial order was delivered which included a loaner couch and

I would NEVER, EVER do business with this company again. They will tell you whatever they think you want to hear to get your order. After they took our $14,000 they had no interest in making sure we were happy customers. If you need your furniture by a certain date, don't believe anything they tell you. We ended up with floor models in our dining room although we paid for new or we probably wouldn't have any furniture in the room at this point--and no, we were not given any kind of discount for it.
