New Life Furniture
New Life Furniture Bank (NLFB) is Southwest Ohio's only furniture bank collecting gently used furniture and household items to provide to those in need throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. We deliver and set-up an entire household of furnishings to families overcoming homelessness, domestic abuse, extreme poverty, and other devastating circumstances.

We recognize that a home requires more than just four walls. A home requires essential furnishings such as beds to sleep on, a table & chairs to eat at, a sofa to gather, and other basic household items to transform empty spaces into livable homes. We believe in the healing power of giving and receiving to empower communities to come together and support our most vulnerable populations.

In 2020, NLFB delivered 15,812 pieces of furniture, including 1,318 beds to 1,071 households consisting of 1,930 individuals - nearly half were children who had experienced homelessness. Most were households with a single mother and children.
Services
New Life Furniture Bank is a faith-based non-profit organization located in Blue Ash, Ohio, serving the Greater Cincinnati area. We collect gently used furniture from people who have extra, inspect and clean it, and deliver the items directly to the homes of families in need. We believe in the healing power of giving and receiving to empower communities to come together and support our most vulnerable populations.
New Life Furniture Bank provides new & gently used furniture and household items to families and individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area who are leaving homelessness, escaping abuse and living in extreme poverty. Clients served by New Life Furniture Bank are referred by social service agencies that we are in partnership with.
New Life Furniture Bank is the only furniture bank in the Greater Cincinnati area. In 2019, New Life Furniture Bank delivered to 890 homes - 1,817 men, women, and children and furnished their homes with 13,466 donated furniture items. More than half of those served - 936 - were children! As a result, these people now sleep on a mattress and 396 families eat at a kitchen table, not bare floors.

I would advise anyone not to get furniture from New Life. They delivered a bed bug infested couch and a filthy box spring with bed bug covering on it with holes in it. When I finally reach someone on the phone. I was told it was lent on my white new blanket not BB's. And the box spring they never addressed. Now Im stuck with my apartment possibly being infested if I dont get these items out my new apartment. DONT DO IT!!!

I had a bed that was less than a year old to donate and they came to my house and decided they wouldn't take it because it had a bug on it. I'd know if it had bed bugs and it definitely didn't - plus it's cicada season, so isn't it difficult to have the world's most pristine stuff in that regard? They told me to take it to Rumpke, which I'm absolutely NOT doing because it's a perfectly good mattress that someone could use for several more years! I'm hopeful St Vincent DePaul will take it, but don't donate stuff to NLFB!

Wonderful organization changing the lives of so many. We got many items of furniture together to donate and called New Life . We scheduled a pick up. Two young men came for the pick up.Amazing young men who we could tell love what they do. They told stories of how excited people get when they move into their new furnished home. We will definitely call again.Just wish we knew about your organization earlier.

They were 20 minutes late after the 4 hour window they gave me. After verifying on the phone what we were donating and that it was all things they accepted the people showed up and took an end table and the mattress(but not the frame). Leaving us with a porch of perfectly good furniture that we aren't planning on moving with us. I'm sure they do a lot of good and provide a lot of services but if you are moving and want to donate your furniture, I would choose a different agency to donate to.

I represent the St. Vincent de Paul Conferences of Cincinnati. New Life Furniture is our Partner, and they serve a vital role in our joint mission to end homelessness in Hamilton County. New Life will completely furnish some 200 homes this year through referrals from St. Vincent de Paul. Their goal is to create 1000 homes from empty spaces in 2020. St. Vincent de Paul is thankful for New Life's niche in the Cincinnati social services network. Charley Pittinger

New Life Furniture is incredible! Just as important as the material goods they supply, they also pour so much love and respect on the families they serve.

I gave this so-called not for profit organization 1 star because it wouldn't let me post anything without a star rating.(I would have given zero). We tried to donate furniture and appliances from my Mothers estate. The arrogant men who came out to pick it up refused to take any of it. They claimed it wasn't good enough. They kept pointing to the new furniture we were selling saying they wanted "that". It was the most condescending, rude experience I have ever had with low paid employees of a non-profit. Then they had the audacity to ask for a donation of $25 for their gas.
