As individuals, our interaction with our natural surroundings is completely unique, and is a direct reflection of our personality. Deep Roots Landscape strives to create outdoor environments to connect users to natural systems and processes. We want to build more than a beautiful garden setting; we try to immerse the user in the understanding of natural cycles.

Services
I have lived my entire life in the San Francisco Bay Area, and feel a special sense of responsibility as a native. Although our climate is conducive to growing plants from all over the world, we should always be mindful to protect our local flora as much as possible. I received my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, and earned a Master's certificate in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley.
The correct amount of water will make the difference between thriving plants and dying ones. We strive to create irrigation systems that maximize efficiency and eliminate any waste or run-off. By staying abreast of the most recent changes in irrigation technology and also water-use guidelines, our systems operate at the highest optimal level.
We use plants that are regionally appropriate for your area. Our goal is to have the plants establish after a period of time and need less water and maintenance as they grow in. For our area, plants that can tolerate a wet winter and dry summer are mandatory. By combining plants from not only California, but other Mediterranean climates, we can have color and interest throughout the year.
