Cedar in general is a very stable species meaning it withstands warping and shrinking. It is naturally resistant to insect infestation and decay. Left alone, it will turn a silvery gray color, but whether for aesthetics or increased longevity, it will hold stain well. Valley Custom Fence primarily uses Northern White Cedar (Thuja occidentalis) for your fence because it is milled to our specifications - not someone else's.
Valley Custom Fence is pleased to offer you the best choices in ornamental steel and aluminum fences. Get the traditional look of wrought iron without the ongoing maintenance. There are many styles to choose from to give you an elegant and low maintenance system without breaking the bank. Our steel line is the Montage system by Ameristar.

One thing about them is that they are fast, other then that you need to get more information on what they are going to install, my wood fence has only 2 support 2x4 going horizontal with only 1 nail in each end, fence is really wobbly, asked them about it and their reply was that's how they do it. On installation they asked if I want a privacy fence (which is the boards spaced a few inches apart with a center board in-between the space, I went that route, what a mistake, they didn't nail the boards right on a lot of the spaced boards, i have already had to re-nail over a dozen boards with new ones

Set up an appointment online. Waited a month for the owner to come out and give me a quote. He gave me an insane estimate (I know wood is high right now, but it isn't gold) I asked when it could be done...He told me a month from now. Never got back to me at all. Moral of the story...don't waste your time with this company. You are better off doing it yourself or finding someone on craigslist that actually wants your business.

I had Jim out on April 21 to measure for a quote. He said I’d get a quote that weekend. He was very very nice so I was hopeful things would go well. I followed up on April 29th when I never got a quote. I got a response saying they were busy but would let Jim know I was still waiting. Now almost a month later still nothing and my last email on may 10th was ignored. No voicemails ever responded to either.

Jim was amazing to work with! So glad we went with Valley Custom Fence, LLC. He helped us work with the city, and went out of his way multiple times to make sure we could get out fence up as soon as possible. They even put the fence up when there was snow on the ground. We just had a cedar fence installed this week. Right from the start I knew we choose the right company. Jim came to give us an estimate and he wasn't in a hurry. He answered any questions I had and we even shot the breeze for a bit. When the crew came to start they we professional and made you feel comfortable. When the install started they explained how they go about deciding just how high the fence should be because of the lay of the land and explained if you had any questions. The quality of the materials is without question top notch. If a board is questionable it does not get used. These guys
