Services
At Abbott, we'll help you decide which trees to keep and when trees should be removed. We completely remove trees to within 6 of ground level, cutting the stump as low to the ground as possible. We can haul away and dispose of all debris, but we'll also cut wood and leave it for firewood or turn it into wood chips at the customer's request.
We deliver firewood year round. Depending on the time of year, deliveries usually run 7 to 10 days out from time of order. A cord of wood measures 4 feet high by 4 feet wide by eight feet long (4' x 4' x 8') and has a volume of 128 cubic feet. The higher the moisture content of your wood, the less heat it will give off.

We are completely disappointed is the work that they did for us. It took over a month for them to show up and when they finally came the work was not completed as quoted. When we called, John, to have someone come out to look at the work, nobody showed up. Now the grass seed the put down is growing and it's nothing but crab grass. Very very very disappointed and would definitely NOT recommend their services.

Most importantly, the work that was done was a bit more than what was described and expected, and I feel that I was charged a fair price. I will definitely consider using Abbott again and would give a good recommendation.
One negative comment -- we received our quote on early June. A general window for service was given and I was told that I would receive a call when our service would take place. The workers showed up with no warning on a Friday that I was off work and had plans to take my child out for the afternoon. We had to scrap our plans as the workers arrived and were blocking us from getting

Couldn’t be happier that we chose Abbott- We had a very large, difficult to access, dying Siberian elm in our… yard that was becoming a threat to our house and our neighbors. After meeting with numerous companies, Abbott was the only one able to out source the extra large crane necessary for the removal at the most reasonable price and create the least invasive plan- many others were keen to remove large sections of our neighbors fence or disconnect their electricity for an entire day, or not willing to take on the project at all. Mike and his crew were outstanding; fast, professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Quality work at a very honest price. My large dead pine tree, along with other dead tree branches, was gone before I had even gotten home from work on my lunch break. The whole process was quick and painless. Better yet – I received a time lapse video of the whole tree removal shortly after – HOW COOL!!! Abbott is absolutely the best! They did a fantastic job and were very professional, helpful and fun to work with. Our long time lawn care service merged with this company and all we’ve had is problems. They’ve been told many times to bag clippings and to stop mowing clippings into beds but again this happened. Our back looks like a 10 year old did it. They refuse to come back and make it better. NEVER had trouble before

We had the Abbott tree care team remove at least 15 dead/dying trees and trim up all of our other trees. Some of the trees had fallen due to storm damage Labor Day weekend - they came right away and took out the damage from the storm that was in the way or had fallen on other trees. The rest we scheduled for later which just finished up. The team works extremely hard and was very conscientious. They did a great job cleaning up, too, which we really appreciate. We highly recommend.
