Furniture Creative Coworking is a unique shared workspace in Denver's Highland neighborhood housed in the former Denver Fine Furniture building. Brought to life by founder, Jason Wedekind, Furniture is meant to combine the energy Jason experienced when part of a larger design firm with the entrepreneurial "hunger" that comes from being self employed or with small firms.
It's a unique environment that brings a sense of legitimacy to your workspace. Currently housing graphic designers, interactive designers, a software developer, a video producer and a custom invitation designer, we are seeking other creative types to join us.
The name Furniture comes from coincidence: the building was most recently used as Denver Fine Furniture, a furniture store launched to cater to the Hispanic tastes of the neighborhood in the 1970s.Furniture is also the name given to wooden blocks used to lock up moveable type in letterpress printing.

Great place to work. I was visiting Denver from New York and was looking for a break from stuffy high-rise office shares elsewhere in the city. This place was near my Airbnb in a very cool, very walkable neighborhood. The people are cool and friendly enough but I like that everyone's there to get stuff done. No trust-funders mulling about pretending to work as far as I could tell. A huge thing is that they have second monitors for use, which I have yet to see at the various other coworking spaces I work at. Reasonable pricing, good coffee, good area, free of corporate zombie vibes. This will be

The best coworking spaces are well-balanced – quiet vs social; shared vs personal; community guidelines vs individual freedoms. Furniture Coworking gets it right.
Furniture is a welcoming, creative and just plain cool space. Of course there are plenty of amenities (wifi, tea, indoor bike storage, a couple monitors available for use by Floater members, printer that can print tabloid) – but my favorite is a rollup door alongside a work/eat bar so that if you sit there on nice days you feel like you are working outside.
I’ve been a member of several coworking spaces over the past 7 years.

Furniture Creative Coworking is a needle in the haystack! I've tried upwards of 10 coworking spaces to find the right fit, and Furniture has it all: tons of natural light, great kitchen space, phone booths to take calls, a garage door that lets fresh air in during nice weather and an awesome culture of creative people. Jason, the owner is incredibly relaxed and inviting, fostering a culture of productivity and community both. His main focus is ensuring that the space is a productive place for his members, but he also hosts lunch & learns fueled by the coworking community to foster interaction.

My wife and I visited Furniture Creative on a trip through Denver and found the space to be inviting and well-designed to get stuff done. The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen has whatever you need, and the neighborhood has plenty of walkable places to grab a bite (or a drink).
The letterpress shop in the back is worth checking out, just for viewing the classic equipment.
If you need a productive space for co-working or visiting the Lower Highland area, give this place a try. We'll be back!
