I struggled in writing this because at the end of the day, we are happy with the fence we received, and this is the second fence American Fence has installed for us, but their communication was so poor throughout this process, I would not recommend or use again.
Lets start at the beginning - we ordered the fence in late March/early April, it was completed on September 24th. They put an extremely expensive fence in for our neighbors. Here is our view of the fence. Rip off and poor work. we complained to our neighbor about it as we had agreed to pay for our part of the fence. And… she says they refuse to get back to her. We have not paid the neighbor yet as I think they either need to fix our fence or give us a discount

Was very pleased with American Fence. They put up a fence in our backyard a few months ago and did a wonderful job. The gate in the backyard had separated to a point where it wouldn't close. I spoke with American Fence last week, and they came out today, built a new gate and all is good. Job well done!

Kevin Dooley and his 2 guys Alex and Christian were beyond kind. Due to issues with my neighbor I had to relocate my fence not once but twice. They came right back out and moved the posts no complaints no delays. Quality work and they took there time each time making sure the posts were all even and level. I'm so appreciative! Thank you guys!

We had a 6 foot, privacy, wooden fence finished today. It is just beautiful. Both crews who put in the posts and did the finishing were wonderful, professional and lovely to speak to. I’m sure the company is super busy finishing a lot of projects right now but it was worth the wait. I’m pleased and my dogs are overjoyed. American Fence will be first on my list for upcoming projects. Thank you all so very much!

We used this company to install an electronic gate across our driveway a few years ago. Even though they were more expensive than some other companies, I do not mind paying more for quality and good customer service. Recently, however, we had to have the fence motor replaced. Within one month of that work, we were having trouble with it again. American Fence sent a guy out who was here for 10 minutes, pushed a few buttons and they charged me $95. When I told them that they never told me they were going to charge me for his visit (I assumed it was an issue from the recent install) and

American Fence Co did a fantastic job for us. The man who came to estimate was on time and professional. The crew who put in the posts were on time and did a great job. My husband watched every hole being dug and post put in. They came back on time and but the boards up in one day! I was very impressed with everyone we worked with on the job and in the office.

My entire experience with American Fence was excellent! From the estimate to the finished product, they were very professional, quick and neat. The gates and fence are perfectly constructed and very pleasing to the eye. My neighbor stopped me to say how nice it looked, and that now here fence didn't look so good. 😄

I agree with the other reviews. Shame on me... I used them twice because I had a time sensitive job and they were available. I was sorry. Fence was not installed as requested. Gates not in the right place big gaps at the bottom. Left behind a big mess. Collections called me before the job was complete demanding payment. Sent an email to the top exec who completely ignored my complaints.

We put down deposit almost 10 weeks ago. We have poles set and have been promised 3 different times that it was going to be completed and then Nobody shows up or calls. Even before poles were placed we called our salesman a few different times and got voicemail but was never called back. I am very frustrated and if someone doesn't get it finished then I am contacting the BBB.

Check BBB.org reviews first! I wish that we had. Poor BBB rating and over 20 complaints. Our fence was promised in 6-8 weeks, end to end. It took nearly 14 weeks (my neighbor went with another company and had theirs in 5 weeks total). Poor communication and lots of delays and excuses. Asked the company for a discount to account for all the delays and hassle and they refused to respond. I would never use this company again and would never recommend this company.

Terrible Terrible service! I have never been treated so poorly. I was given a promise of an unrealistic timeline; I accepted the fact it wasn't going to get done before Thanksgiving. Then I was promised weather permitting 12/9. That came and went no update so I called. I was told they would have it done by Friday. Friday it is 3/4 done. I wait a week and no movement no updates or calls. I call; they had it marked as complete. Uh...no it isn't. They got someone out by the next week, which was Christmas.
