GreenCity Lawn Maintenance is a locally owned business, founded in Belvidere, IL in 2016. Owner and Operator, Hussain Abdul, was born in Rockford, IL and has lived in Belvidere his entire life. Growing up, I was always fascinated with heavy machinery. As a current employee of Chrysler LLC, I get to experience working with many heavy equipment.
GreenCity Lawn Maintenance provides weekly and bi-weekly lawn mowing for both RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL properties. For "lawn mowing" and "snow removal" we (ONLY) service the Boone County, IL area. We do this because we want to guarantee that our local customers get the best quality service. Once we set up a specific day of the week you prefer us to show up, we will show up every time on that day.
Do you have landscaping mulch that is outdated, and looking for a landscaper? No problem our landscaper can install new mulch that will add value to your landscaping and flower beds. We can also design custom landscaping ideas that our landscaper can install with ease. Our process is extremely convenient for clients.
Our process is quite simple. Once we receive a phone call from you, we will then schedule a time we both agree on to do an on site evaluation. As soon as we know what the job entails, we will then give you a quote. When agreed upon, we can discuss a specific day of the week you would like us to provide service.

They put a base down for a shed. Came and did a thorough evaluation of the site. Took my input and created a good plan. Explained the entire process and materials. Right before they started working, I made some adjustments to the plan and they were able to handle it. Got the project done on time and left the area in excellent condition. Great Job!

We had a raised garden installed and were delighted with the quality and detail of their work. Then we had a complete patio installation with Unilock pavers, as well as brick edging surrounding the entire house flower beds. Again, high quality and attention to detail. Easy to work with, great communication, competitive pricing. Highly recommend this company for the type of hardscape services we had them do.

If you need lawn services or landscaping done, definitely get a hold of Green City Lawn Maintenance. The customer service is fantastic, Hussain is personable and easy to work with and the team is prompt, quick and does an awesome job! I hired them to clean up some spots in my yard and mulch, but they actually did some basic lawn maintenance, added some extra mulch in places that I didn't ask for and trimmed up those pesky weeds that pop up in between the sidewalk and driveway.

I wish I would have called the crew from GreenCity first. After wasting my time with the "big name" (and non-responsive) landscaping outfits, I took a gander online and stumbled across GreenCity. Less than 24 hours after giving them a call I had an estimate in hand. Hussain and his crew promised to deliver and boy did they ever! If I could give them 10 stars I would. The passion for their craft was more than evident and the final results from their labor were well beyond my expectations.

Hussain does snow removal for our commercial property in Belvidere, IL. He not only had the lowest prices by far, but his service is better than any other snow removal companies we have ever used! Instead of being an after thought, he has made our property a priority. We are beyond impressed with Hussain and his team. So impressed, that this year we are going to have them do all of our asphalt work too- sawcut and patch potholes etc. Once again, they have the best prices for this asphalt work and we are excited to experience the quality of their work in the next 1-2 weeks. Fantastic company here

Wow very impressed, great service great quality and they were the best price I could find so I was skeptical but wow!
They built a paver patio in my backward, said it would take a week or so but finished in 3 days.
I will definitely contact them for snow removal and future landscaping projects.

My husband and myself were very pleased with the service of this company. The work on our back patio by far exceeded our own expectations. The owner was very innovative and went beyond what was excepted for our actual job.
