Medallion is a great builder until you close. Their “Warranty Department” is a complete joke. They string you along for months and months, going weeks without responding to you. When they do send someone out to fix items, there always seem to be last-minute cancellations or temporary fixes to get you off their backs for a little while. I’m going on over 10 months with no resolution to multiple items. To say I am unsatisfied with the level of service received is an understatement.

I lived here for over 7 years .The best day of my life was moving out. This is a very divided community in the Lakes of Mount Dora. Everything is always broken, the heater in the pool, the gate securing our property, etc. The community has been broken into numerous times, once as early as last week. The gates are never shut or cars follow you right in. The Manager of this property is the nastiest person I ever met, she does not even address her residents and drinks alcohol in her office. We were promised a park 4 years ago and Carlos the owner is not living up to his promises. The lake islands

After going through the building process with Medallion Homes and closing during a pandemic, we can honestly say that Medallion's staff is amazing on all levels, from the top down. Our Site Supervisor Alex Galvez has an ability to work through the building process with grace and efficiency. This carries all the way to the top, with President Dominick Donato. Out of all the home builders in Sarasota and the surrounding areas, Medallion Home Builders is by far superior than most in the business. Not only the quality of home they build, but the floor plans, the products they use and the people they hire, including the Subs they hire, stand out above the rest. Their General Contractors, at least the one we worked with, was caring, very communicative, and always willing to help when we had questions or concerns. We love our property and feel very comfortable in our new home that was finished December 2019. However, the most impressive thing they can stand

Our home building experience with Medallion has been excellent! The Aruba floor plan was almost perfect for our needs, but Medallion allows you to make custom modifications, so now it is perfect! Susan, the sales person, was very attentive to our needs during the lot selection, negotiation and architecture phase. Tina at the design center was amazing to work with and we felt she had our best interest at heart with lots of assistance and good ideas. We purchased a spec home from Medallion about 2 months ago. I can honestly say that the experience was totally painless. The sales staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. The construction quality seems very good ( I am not not a builder) but with every new home there are always issues and problems to be corrected that are discovered AFTER you move in. Medallion homes stepped up and resolved these issues without quibbling. I unhesitatingly recommend them.

Purchasing with Medallion Homes has been a great experience. It was our first time purchasing a brand new home from the ground up. Medallion made it very easy and walked us through the steps. Any concerns or issues were immediately addressed to our satisfaction. I would build again with them. We have recommended them to many people as its a great product and layouts for the money.
