Hanover Pruning & Hardscapes, Inc. was founded in 2013 by Michael Farmer, a local tree care professional with over 20 years experience in the industry. He specializes in extensive rigging, tree removal/ pruning, emergency services, and application of patios and retaining walls. He first started in the tree care industry at the age of 16 with his family business, since that time, he has never stopped loving his passion.
A patio can be created with many materials, but it's hard to beat one made from pavers for ease of installation and low maintenance. The initial cost may be higher than other options, but you'll save in the long run by not having to stain or seal it continuously. Plus, repairs are easier, one paver at a time.
I contacted Mike at Hanover Pruning and Hardscapes on his cell phone, left a message and had a call back within 30 minutes. He came out in the rain to give myself and my neighbor an estimate for tree removal. The price was very competitive for tree removal and stump removal of some stumps that were very large that a previous tree removal company had not done.

Due to a miscommunication, dates where changed. Leaving as a neutral review until updated appointment. So had my estimate, estimate was very reasonable. Unfortunately I did choose them due to having to sign with them before getting a date to bring down my trees. I needed a guarantee that they could do the work before the end of the month. I stated if they could provide that guarantee I would sign with them right there. It was stated no, I had to sign with them prior to being given a date. That just did not work for me. So I leave this review as a neutral. I wish their business all the best.

Hired Hanover Pruning and Hardscapes to install a patio in our backyard. They did a great job addressing the issues that we were having with the land (sloped towards the house, which led to water coming into our basement), taking out a dying tree that needed to be removed, installing the patio and drainage, and regrading the entire backyard. Very professional and takes the time to make sure the job is done correctly. Also very communicative--will respond to texts and emails very quickly, so your questions are answered at once. I was very pleased with the job done by the crew of Hanover Pruning and Hardscapes! They had a huge task on hand taking down a massive 150+ year old tree that was in my yard that was slowly dying. Tucked tightly between fences on either side, a camper, and a barn, the tree was taken down flawlessly!
They have the proper equipment to get the job done. The crew men were very well-mannered, knowledgeable, and experienced.

I had an excellent experience with Hanover Pruning & Hardscapes this past week! On a Sunday, Mike the proprietor, came out to give me a quote on eight pines I needed to take out. His quote was great, but I was amazed how quickly he and his crew fit me in - they started work at 7am the next day! They made quick work of the pines and stumps. They finished around 10am. Two thumbs up to Mike and Hanover Pruning & Hardscapes! I will definitely keep them in mind for future jobs and you should, too. Thank you!
