Top Notch did an outstanding job for us! We had a large linden tree come down in our backyard during a storm in December. I called around for quotes and only two places were willing to give me an estimate for winter work. Top Notch gave us an estimate that was $3,000 less than the competition. Their quote was in the exact range that our insurance company predicted. They came and removed the tree only 3 days later and their work was meticulous. The customer service was awesome and I could not believe how well the back yard was cleaned up after they left. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!!

No complaints. Rod and Billy were very responsive and easy to work with! Fair and competitive pricing. I was given an estimate on 3-4 before they could arrive and they were at my house within that range. Their crew did a great job and left no mess. Highly recommend!

I rarely write reviews. I start with that because when I do write a review it is because the service or product I am reviewing far exceeded my expectations. Top Notch did just that. They came in with the lowest bid for removing a tree in our front yard. Then they started the project a week earlier than estimated. The removal team were professional, experienced and courteous. They worked like a well oiled machine. They had fun with one another which made watching them fun. You could tell they enjoyed working with one another. When the job was done our yard was clean and tree free! No cleaning up

We had some tree damage due to the storms this summer. I talked with Rod when he came out to give me an estimate. He was straight forward and knowledgeable. His prices were reasonable and he was clear in what he and his team were going to do and the equipment they were going to use, etc. (That helped me to have even more confidence that he know what he was doing.) We had some issues getting the work done but that was mostly due to the weather. But once we got it locked in... Rod and his team came out and did great work. They were competent, thorough and they did what they said they were going to

I called to get a tree trimmed at the end of July. Rod said he was booked roughly 4-6 weeks out. At the beginning of September I called to get an update and see if my appointment was approaching. Rod didn't answer so I left him a message. He responded the next day with a text message that said "Sorry still doing storm damage." After the large derecho storm in Iowa we had huge amounts of tree damage. I never heard or contacted Rod again. After waiting so long I called another service and they were great. I understand emergencies happen but you can't forget about your other customers.

Simply the best! I've used them a couple of times now. Last year to remove two dying ash trees in the backyard and this year to trim two maples in the front yard. Both times Rod, Billy and their crew were professional, responsive, and very kind. After they're finished with the job, you would have no idea a tree care team came through. They're quick and efficient with their work and knowledgeable on what's best for your tree.

Was having trouble getting tree service companies to respond. After reading the reviews I called Top Notch and they came right out for an estimate. A week later I had 4 trees removed (3 small ones), four large trees trimmed and an entire row of large lilacs removed (all the stumps removed of course). Friendly professional crew, worked quickly and left the yard cleaner than they found it. I will use them again! Only problem is, now I have no excuse to not side my house and build my new fence in the back yard.

I have not used Top Notch once.... I've used them 3 times for the same tree. My very large Ash tree was struck by lightning in 2013 and 2014, downing a branch each time. Last week lighting struck again during a terrible storm and downed one of the largest branches. Rod came out and gave us a very fair price to remove the downed limb and the rest of the tree. A week later they were there to do the job. It took less than four hours for this enormous tree. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and safety conscience. Their cleanup is wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone!
