In 1984, following nearly a life-long career in the furniture industry, Nolan Albarado partnered with his son Michael to create Albarado's Fine Furnishings. With a lineage coming directly from Acadian settlers, the Albarado family was proud to build their business in the community they have called home for generations.
After over three decades of providing excellent service and furnishing to Acadiana with the finest products, Michael Albarado decided to retire. In 2019, ownership of Albarado's Fine Furnishings was given to long-time employee, manager, and friend Don Richard as well as seasoned designer Peggy Smith.
Don and Peggy continue to build upon the Albarado's legacy and family values that have been with the business since the beginning. Today, our reputation as Acadiana's premier location for the finest quality furniture and accessories is only surpassed by the quality of service and value we secure for the generations of customers and designers who trust us with their patronage.
