We're a small West Shore family business. We've got three trucks, one crew and zero sales people. Thanks to our modest overhead and 30 years of local experience, we can offer the highest standards of quality and craftmanship, at a price big outfits can't match. Brian Bolger co-founded Bolger Design + Remodeling in 1987.
He is a hands-on contractor that will personally orchestrate your project on-site from initial design to the last coat of paint. Bolger Design + Remodeling is a family business. We all share a passion and long term interest in our business. That same commitment extends to our large network of sub-contractors, who after working with us for 3 decades have become a part of our family.
We have no salespeople. No 0% financing. No TV ads. That explains why our bids generally come in lower than our larger competitors. And we make our jobs cost friendly over the long term by using quality materials and construction methods that will stand the test of time. See for yourself what we can do for your project.

I have been working with Bolger for about 5 years. They did a total bathroom remodel on my rental property here in PA, while I lived in CA. Not only was I completely satisfied, but they worked closely with the tenants, as they were conscious of working around them and their schedules. As well, I am having a number or items upgraded, changed and refreshed in my home here in PA by James B. Looking forward to more remodeling in my future by Bolger Design and Remodeling!!!!

Brian and his “crew” turned our dated and dysfunctional master bath into a dream ! They were always cleaning up after themselves - and made sure we were all on the same page as far as which sub-contractor was coming each day AND when. Plus when we needed to add a few details to the finish ( raising up the master vanity as well as replacing the vanity top) Brian made sure we got all the components added, exactly the way we wanted them as well as in a timely manor! WE LOVE our new master bath. We would gladly stand up as a reference as well as welcome potential clients to view our completed project

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
Fantastic to work with. Had two bathrooms done-so impressed with the project from design to execution that I’ve hired them to do my kitchen. Brian is very detailed oriented and entire crew were professional and clean and respectful of house and me. I highly recommend-they may be small but the execute great work!!

I would not recommend Bolger Design & Remodeling to homeowners that are not looking for large/major renovations/work. I knew within a short amount of time that Brian Bolger was not going to consider the renovations. My rating of only "1 star" rating is driven by the way he conducted himself professionally. His lack of professionalism by not honestly and directly stating his "lack of interest" during the site visit or after the visit with a follow-up e-mail or telephone call leads me to not recommend his services.

Company doesn’t care about the neighbors they piss off while working. 6:30am I have a Bolger guy throwing bricks into a dump truck outside my bedroom window. I asked him to stop because it’s 6:30am and he said he didn’t have to, he just wasn’t allowed to use power equipment. How thoughtful and considerate of him and your company. How about you send me your address and let me come over and demonstrate at 6:30am sometime?
