Mark did a great job at extending my patio and some retaining walls. It was a struggle to find matching pavers as the manufacturer stopped producing that color in the tumbled version and the next close color was out of stock everywhere too. He drove half a day to get the last pallet of pavers from a far away location and did not charge me anything extra for it.
The same thing for the retaining wall blocks. The one I had was not in production anymore, so he came up with the idea to use a nice boulder as a separation between the 2 different size of the retaining wall blocks (they were the same color

We hired Mark to redesign our landscaping, build a walkway and an oversized fire pit as well as install stone steps at various locations. We are very happy with the work Mark and his crew did. After he started our project we asked him to do some additional work, including install landscape lighting and adding a drain pipe and repairing others, which he did. It’s been almost a year and all the plants are filling in nicely and looking absolutely beautiful. We get compliments often from family and friends. Mark @ Artistic Landscaping did a phenomenal job on my back yard. He is an expert at what he does. I had him do hardscapes (Patio picture below) as well as landscaping. Both turned out beautiful. Season after season, I had a "problem hill" that I never knew what to do. Mark came up with a plan, and in one day he installed the perfect bushes/plants/flowers and made my backyard a sanctuary! I love it! Mark also added onto my current sprinkler system so that my new plants would always be well hydrated. They also periodically check back with me to see how everything is looking. We unfortunately worked with Mark and his crew. We had terrible communication from them through out the entire project. They started 3 weeks late and took over twice as long as he quoted us. He miscalculated how much sod we needed for the project we requested. He then tried to make it seem like he was doing us a favor by getting more. He then tried to leave us with a terribly steep hill off our patio. He told us it was about $3k more to fix. We negotiated to $1k more making this a $12,600 project. We paid this for a patio expansion, drainage issues, regrading, and sod. Yet now we are left with

We engaged Mark and Company to complete a multi-faceted project:
1) Redesign Front and back yard landscaping
2) Replace sod in back and side yards
4) Add Sprinkler system to landscape areas
5) Install Haven Landscape light to the front of the house
The project was completed over weeks and each stage was completed timely and professionally. They cleaned the site up well after completion.
Mark was also flexible and responsive to our last minute changes and additions to both the front and back yard landscaping.
He was really good follow up with our questions as we swapped out certain plants

I hired this company to remove my old back deck that was on its way out and they did a tremendous job.
The old deck was removed and cleared with no issues. The new deck is well built and sturdy. I am no longer hesitant to have more than a couple of people on it at one time.
The team also found an issue with our front porch and were able to remedy it before we had a major problem down the line.
The pricing was very reasonable and the entire crew was very professional. Highly recommended!

It’s been about 5 years since Mark designed and did a makeover of my backyard and we still enjoy it every day. Especially now with the covid when we stay at home all the time.
My backyard had a bad slope and I had no idea on what to do with it. Mark turned it into something beautiful and listened to my needs for a garden place, installed an irrigation system with Rachio. This summer we ate tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers all summer from this small garden and it is not over yet, I just took this attached pic with the tomatoes, peppers and eggplants and it is Aug 25th.

We hired Mark/Artistic Landscapes to redesign our yard with flowers and plants; to install two small patios with pavers; and provide for corresponding drainage controls (we are uphill from two other homes). Mark failed to create a plan and submit the proper permits to adhere to City of Atlanta requirements for hardscape installation and drainage.
