My hot water heater failed late in the evening. I was forced to shut off the water to my entire house due to a faulty valve. A1 had a crew out to my home first thing in the morning. They did a great job, were pleasant and professional.

A sewer backup turned into a big tear up for us. A-1 came by, explained everything they would try to open up our sewer line to keep our cost down. Ended up being a much bigger deal, but they explained and showed me why the work needed to be done. Despite a frustrating scheduling problem in booking the earth mover to get the work done in a timely manner I'm still giving A-1 a 5 star. Kevin and the rest of his crew where professional, explained every step and what I was paying for. Customer for life.

Kevin was very professional, was able to assess what my issue was and took Swift action to fix what was needed. He then inspected all around even went in my basement and told me what repairs would be needed in the future. Do not try to up-sell me, did not try to sell me any Services I did not need. very professional would recommend him for anything moving forward.

I just bought my home in Westland this past September and my wash tub in my basement kept overflowing occasionally when doing laundry. This past week it backed up and flooded my whole basement 3 times so I decided to call a plumber. I found A 1 Bargain Plumbing with great reviews on yelp. I called and left a message at 20 after 10 this morning. They returned my call about 25 minutes later and said they'd have someone out around 12. They arrived at about quarter after, went straight to work. He was very diligent and showed me many things about my home and the plumbing that I was unaware of and explained

A1 Bargain Plumbing was a service we used previously due to their use of cameras. They were professional, courteous, and FAST in the previous encounter, so we called them when the sewer backed up. They came out quickly, cleared the drain, and showed us the crushed sewer pipe. They were back out a few days later to replace that section of pipe and install a backflow. Service was fast, thorough, and professional. Very pleased with the attention to detail in explaining and showing us what the issue was. Great experience on a major repair.

My experience with A-1 was just that -- A1. Kevin took my call and had me text him photos of my plumbing problem, which was a small leak from the water main to the water meter in my basement. The valve from the water main was also leaking. He was able to quickly determine the scope of work and came out a few days later. He walked me through the process of scheduling to get my water shut off by the city before starting the work. Everything went smoothly. He and his assistant were courteous (taking the time to remove their shoes before stepping on my carpeted basement) and thorough. The new valves

This is the guy you want working on your plumbing. After having two other companies review the issue at my Mom’s house we were at a loss for what to do. Quotes were coming in at five figures to fix a broken drain line under her basement floor. Everything from “We’ll have to tear up the entire basement” to “we’ll have to line the main pipe all the way to the sewer”.
