In 1973 Ralph Roemer Construction was started by Mike's father, Ralph. In the early years, construction projects consisted of small jobs. This developed into building new homes (beginning in 1977). Mike Roemer joined the firm in 2001 and it became known throughout Winona and SE Minnesota as Roemer Construction and Design, Inc. (RCD).
