Four Seasons Sunrooms revolutionized the sunroom industry with its exclusive and proprietary glazing product available only through Four Seasons Sunrooms dealers and franchises: CONSERVAGLASS SELECT. Four Seasons' exclusive CONSERVAGLASS SELECT is made especially for the extreme demands of a room of glass.
It reduces the relative heat gain, glare, and UV damage that other glazing products do not. It uses a combination of microscopically thin coatings of exotic metals and compounds to let beneficial, natural sunlight into the room, while reducing oppressive heat and damaging UV light. The revolutionary coatings on the glass also reduce the glare and upholstery fading associated with common insulated glass, while still maintaining its transparency.
During the summer, the sun is high in the sky and directs its energy directly toward the roof of your sunroom. Ordinary glass does little to block the sun's energy and will quickly overheat your room. To combat this, CONSERVAGLASS SELECT for roof applications includes a spectrally selective coating inside the insulated glass panel to block much of the sun's energy while preserving visibility through the glass.

Mark and his team at SolarTecture did a fantastic job replacing our old leaky wooden solarium. We still marvel at how they were able to diligently fit the new updated and much sturdier solarium components to existing walls and the roof of the house. Unlike before, the new solarium has truly become a comfortable extension of our house. The temperature is now well regulated, and there is no more wind blowing through. All our neighbors commented upon how professional and respectful they were. Mark and his team even returned to make sure that everything was watertight. Now, we can enjoy meals while

Solartecture did a great job transforming our large deck into a year-round sunroom. We had talked with other builders who couldn't figure out how to integrate the roof lines, but with his years of experience and a can-do attitude, Mark figured it out. Although we were disappointed with the initial timeline delays, when it came time for the construction, they worked efficiently and with high quality. Because it was in the middle of COVID, they constructed a sterile pathway through our house, all wore masks, and everyone stayed healthy. All of the workers were courteous, hard working, and

Used them to service a Four Seasons sunroom in a house we recently purchased that hadn't been resealed in 20 years. Very prompt response to our initial call. Mark did a very careful and thorough job that comes with a 1 year guarantee. Very pleased with the work. Highly recommend them to anyone thinking of installing a sunroom or with a sunroom needing maintenance. Also looking into having them install a solar panel system.

SolarTecture....master craftsmen! From the architectural design to the finished room, there was insight and meticulous workmanship. I used the wood framing and it does not appear to be an add on....it became part of the house. They went out of their way to accommodate my every whim. Aside from the workmanship, everyone was a pleasure to work with and I believe we shared a mutual admiration. The room is absolutely beautiful and I wish I had done it years ago. It is a dream come true!

Mark Porter came to our home to give us a bid for a sunroom. We decided on 200 square feet, 20 x 10. The work was completed in 4 weeks despite rain throughout November 2018. The crew - Marquez, Carlos, George and others - were very polite, respectful and hardworking. The room is sturdy, weathertight, beautiful. Now that the room is built, I can see that Mark's suggestions -- three larger windows instead of four, a door that slides left-to-right instead of right-to-left -- make for improved visual appeal. The additional square footage is so nice! When we have guests they do often hang out in

Amazing solar company! SolarTecture installed a solar system on my mothers property in Carmel Valley, CA. She is saving a ridiculous amount of money on her utility bills and the system looks great. I highly recommend using SolarTecure in the Monterey Bay Area if you're considering going solar. You will save money and George will make sure that you will get the best service around. Don't wait, go SolarTecure.

These guys installed the solar on our grandmothers house & we were so pleased with the experience. The entire team kept us up to date on the timeline of the project, the crew was respectful & professional. They've even been back twice to clean the panels. Not to mention the savings we've seen! Highly recommend

George Porter needs to be your go to for solar and electric work in the Monterey Bay! His work exceeded my expectations and I have seen a huge ROI since deciding to let him install solar onto my property in Carmel Valley. His professionalism was top notch as he clearly communicated to me the entire time we worked together. Due to the amazing experience I had doing Solar with him I decided I should contact him come about an unrelated electric issue I was having that no one else seemed to be able to help me with and once again he came through for me. I don’t typically go out of my way to write

These folks designed and built a sunroom in the back of our home. The results were spectacular but I give them my five-star not only because of the finished product but because of the way the team worked with me and my family. Altogether 6 people were involved including professionals pouring cement etc. Everyone was top-of-the-line. I highly recommend them.

Repower Monterey did an excellent job on my house in Salinas. I've been putting off getting Solar because I just got a new roof -- but my energy bill has just been through the roof (pun intended) so I needed to do something. I Googled the number and spoke to the front office lady, who was just delightful, and I quickly got in contact with George. I had no idea what, how much, or how little I needed for my house and energy usage. George was helpful, level headed, and direct. I'm thankful, because much like auto shops, these solar places can really try to upsell you. George gave me all the info I

We had Slolartecture put in a sun room in our house in 2001. We have worked on it several times to keep the interface between it and the wood walls from leaking. It has leaked the entire time. We now need to do major renovation because of this leaking. We've replaced hard wood flooring and wall board because of this problem. Unless you are making a standalone structure, do not use Solartecture in your home.

We started thinking about a sunroom two years ago as our place in Aptos was so tiny, the living room seemed more like a foyer, the dining TV room a converted one car garage. Mark Porter and his architect drew up the design and we started the project last November 2015. The rain slowed things down but the sunroom was finished in April 2016. The room is 26 x 13 feet and has added quite a bit of space - we now spend all our time in this room! The special glass keeps the temperature fairly cool during the day and warm at night. Mark suggested radiant floor heating and we took this suggestion,

We were referred to Mark through a local architect along with two other contractors, We were fortunate a few years ago to pick up a tiny cottage in Carmel. We realized in order to make this something that we could potentially retire to we would need to expand it a little and for that needed a general contractor that could build and importantly finish something that was sympathetic to the existing structure. The cottage is pretty funky being built in the 30's and remodeled by no other than Hugh Comstock 10 years later so is bursting to charm and quirks.
