Great use for an empty 180,000 sf big box. We worked with Arcadesma to design the new Sports and Fitness Center at TMCC.
The new facility includes dedicated spaces for cardiovascular and resistance training in addition to a gym and open areas for intramural and club sports. Treadmills, elliptical machines, and spin bikes will offer students, staff and faculty opportunities to break a sweat before, in between or after classes, while a large array of free weights, dumbells, and resistance equipment can complete your strength and resistance training routine.
A full-sized gymnasium will is also available for basketball and volleyball activities and additional space for PEX classes. Full-size locker rooms enable gym-goers to shower-up and change, ready to start (or return to) their day. New 44 unit senior housing development on Sutro Street in Reno, NV. The 44,000 square foot project includes 44 senior apartments around a central courtyard and interior gathering spaces for the tenants. Our client was the Reno Housing Authority and the project was funded by a mix of low income, senior housing and energy tax credits.
Frame Architecture, Inc designed the renovation of the former Chocolate Bar into the new Brewer's Cabinet microbrewery and restaurant for a repeat client. The renovation involved re-structuring the upper floor for the brewery equipment, all new main floor interior dining and bar and a commercial kitchen in the basement.
A new 20,000 square foot building for Carson Medical Group located in the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center Campus in north Carson City. We affiliated with Wikoff Design Studio for the space planning and interior design. Project was a design-build with Shaheen-Beauchamp Builders as the general contractor.
