Extremely happy with the value and quality of service. I have a 50 yr old Pecan Tree that needs expert TLC. Other services have done so much damage it was heartbreaking and costly. Leatherface knew exactly what needed to be done to salvage the damage at an affordable price.

My wife and I bought a house last year that has a massive Live Oak tree in the front. After searching through Google reviews, we decided on Leatherface because of his excellent reviews and we specifically wanted an arborist. Richard and Poncho came early this morning to trim our tree. We have metal shingles, so you can’t really walk on it. Richard made sure to not walk on our roof, even though there were many branches to be trimmed over it. We could definitely tell that Richard truly loves what he does and it’s obvious by the great work that he provides! We look forward to working with Richard

Leatherface Tree Service trimmed a very large oak in our front yard and did an excellent job. Richard is very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he would do and why and answered all our questions. Wow when you talk about Service you get it ALL with Richard and his crew. Nothing beats an owner that cares about his customers and trees. Hard working, on time, professional. They removed a large tree and did not damage the delicate landscape underneath . They took all the limbs and stumps and cleaned the yard. And a very good price. 5 stars!!

Can’t recommend enough! We hired Leatherface to remove some trees and trim a neglected large oak in our backyard. Couldn’t be happier with the experience. Richard was prompt to respond, his quote was reasonable, and he was able to schedule the job quickly. Richard did much of the trimming work himself, and his crew was outstanding. He is very polite, extremely knowledgeable, and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Anytime we need tree services, we will contact Richard without hesitation.

Richard was able to determine that our tree was still healthy, which meant we could keep it. He then pruned and trimmed the tree to keep it healthy, and to prevent future damage to surrounding structures.

My wife and I learned of Leatherface Tree Service through our neighborhood, and she read excellent reviews, so gave them a call. We have used this service twice now. Richard is very friendly, honest, and professional. He's a certified arborist, so he knows how to properly care for your needs. He told us when we should have the work done to best protect the health of our Live Oaks. He and his team arrived on time and wee very efficient in getting the job done, both times. His prices were unbeatable, too.

I can't tell you all how happy I am with the service I recieved from Leatherface Tree Service. Richard was quick to answer and help me get an estimate, answer all of my questions (which was a lot) and was… sensitive to my family's emotional attachment to the family tree that had stood for 50 years. He took the time to show and explain to me the big problem, and let me take pictures while he worked. The stump grinding was so necessary, and not included in other quotes I had gotten from other companies. I HIGHLY recommend them, and can't thank Richard enough.

I don't normally write reviews online but felt compelled to share the good work that Leatherface Tree Service just completed for us. I'm building a house and needed someone to come out quickly to significantly trim back our tree or it would have slowed down construction. I called Richard at 5 PM, and he was at our house the next morning at 8 AM. He gave us a thorough overview of how to care for the tree and what he would do to shape it. He quoted me a very fair price and did the work all in the same day. Can't recommend Leatherface Tree Service highly enough!

Richard did an excellent job trimming our trees in the front and backyard the first week of June. He came out in a timely manner and provided an estimate very quickly.
