We called Aantex to address rat issues we have been having in our HOA. Mike from Aantex arrived and started arguing with us that rats are outside the home and therefore not a major problem. We had spotted bunch of rats and his solution was to lay one mouse trap at a time. When we complained about how slow that process will be, he got angry at us and left without doing anything. This was part of HOA maintenance and I cannot think of how this company would treat non-HOA customers 1:1. Horrible experience and I would advise anyone to stay away from this company.

Aantex provided me with a competitive bid once I knew what work needed to be done. They were easy to work with. There was an issue around the subcontractor they hired to do the fumigation work. The subcontractor broke both of my gates and a main part of my sprinkler system. The subcontractor didn't even tell me when they left. Aantex gave me the subcontractor's information and worked with me to have the subcontractor fix the gates. The subcontractor had a guy come out and still left the gates in worse condition from when they first came out. At that point, Aantex came back and helped

I have nothing but nice things to say about the exterminators. They have always done a good job and were friendly. However, they have a huge problem with their accounting. I've had an ongoing issue for 10 months now where she claims I'm up to date then says she sent "incorrect information" and now we owe two months. This has happened twice. We've cancelled their service and found another great company where the office staff is super friendly, easy to work with and ACCURATE!! Lost a customer because of one employee.

We moved out into the area almost two years ago and were told by many we should have pest control for the insects so we hired aantex. They have been great. They give a courtesy call before they show up and the technicians are always kind and efficient. I have had the same tech Jordan for a few treatments and he always has a smile on his face. He works quietly and effectively. I have no complaints and also no bugs in my house which I love!

They have been very easy to deal with, and I think our rat situation is resolved. So that's great. However, there are a few things I wish I'd known going into this:
1) Alameda County Vector Control is a publicly funded service and they will send a rodent exclusion specialist out to tell you what is going on. There's really no need pay $50-$100 for an Aantex inspection.
You'll still need someone to address the access points that Vector Control identifies, but it might turn out to be something you can handle yourself.
2) Some rodent exclusion services will put in one way

I've had a service agreement with Aantex for a few years; but more recently, asked them to check our crawlspace for possible rodent infestation. The much-praised and capable William came out to look things over. He made extraordinary efforts first to investigate, then mitigate by filling a couple voids that could let in critters, and finally thoroughly cleaning the area and removing debris to prevent not only rodents, but potential termite infestation.

Really bad customer service. I was told that Jordan would call me to discuss the quarterly service fee. I missed his call and he left a voicemail. When I called back, a woman answered and asked me which Jordan contacted you, and I said "I don't know, he didn't leave his last name". She said well we have two Jordans here. She said someone would call me back and no one ever did. A little frustrating because I spent some time and did some research and finally landed on this company.

Wow! One bad employee can be the difference from a quality experience to an awful one.
Recently, we had an influx of ants and spiders around our home. Our home warranty provides us with coverage against pests and we submitted a claim to have a pest control provider come to take care of the problem. When this happened in the past, they would send a different provider but this time the sent Aantex. When we were contacted by Aantex, the woman whom we spoke with was extremely rude. This company is awesome!! I bought a house with a huge infestation of fleas. They have already been out multiple times to treat it with no charge.
Sharon who works in the office has been patient and great at follow up. Jordan 1 came out the first time and Jordan 2 came out the second time and they were both equally knowledgeable and excelled at their job.

William is an absolute encyclopedia of knowledge. It's a real pleasure speaking with someone who enjoys their trade. Jordan is also extremely hard working and super insightful. I never thought I'd write a review for a pest control company, but the two guys I interacted with deserve the praise. They provide peace of mind along with valuable knowledge and customer loyalty. Had a huge ant problem all over the kitchen. No matter what we bought, the canned sprays bought from stores would not take care of the issue. Called Aantex who was recommended to us by a friend, great customer service! Bob Baron comes out and sprays inside and out every other month now. Ant issue is nonexistent! It is so nice not having to worry about our kitchen being taken over by ants anymore.
Also, We have a small dog so I was worried about the sprays inside but I was assured that it wouldn't be an issue.

We have synthetic grass in our backyard a few years back and that has really helped with pests in general but we started seeing a lot of spider webs around the exterior of our home. We also saw a lot of roaches in our garage so we had Aantex come out to take a look. John was very knowledgable and took his time explaining and answering all our questions. We signed up for one service as they do not require a contract. We've seen less spider webs and roaches around our home and will have them come back quarter.

I have had an odd issue with ants on the exterior of my car for a few weeks and it keeps getting worse. After searching google for answers, I see their work van in my complex. I call them, hoping I can get an answer to my question. I spoke to Tim who was very helpful and explained what the problem most likely is and how to remedy it. Thank you guys so much.
