As a designer who cares about detail, I admit to valuing precision and having exacting standards. Carl and his crew were great. Clean, efficient, and thoroughly professional, I recommend them with five stars and above. Carl's an easy going guy with a great eye for detail and design who wants to please his clients. I wish I could give 10 stars! Not only is Carl the best painter in LA with a quick, efficient, and friendly crew, but he is an excellent colorist, so you get speed, security, and aesthetics all in one! I have a 100-year old California Spanish home that Carl helped transform back to what I can only imagine was its former glory. His eye and attention to detail is matched only by his speed and cleanliness. Plus, he is a true professional, knows his decoration history, and is passionate about his work. We live in Hancock Park and take tremendous pride in our 1920s Spanish colonial home. Carl Tillmanns has been our exclusive house painter because he is topnotch. My wife and I entrusted our 110 year old shingle style home to Carl Tillmans, and are thrilled with the results. The right selection of colors, great attention to detail, and a crew that is second to none - they have all worked together for years and years. These are professional painters - the real deal. Our home is a significant landmark in Windsor Square. It was a faded beauty, but today looks magnificent. Words cannot express how brilliant Carl has painted my house. Okay, we have a lovely, Spanish classic to begin with - but the rooms were a drab off-white. Carl has actually transformed our house into a gorgeous, one of a kind, delicious home. He painted wood grain by hand to look exactly like the real thing. And his color sense is genius. Not only is he efficient, clean and fairly priced, but the guy's standards for customer service is rare. He's gem with an eye of a true artist. I am going to tell everybody about him.
