Thad Ellet has over two decades of experience under his belt and specializes in service plumbing, trenchless sewer lining, and backflow prevention. Thad started Thad Ellet Plumbing in 2008 after working for several years under the name Ellet/Cockrum Plumbing. The company has grown exponentially since then, warranting bigger equipment, more space, and a larger staff.
The company has moved several times over the past five years: from Cambria, to downtown Carterville, to its present Herrin location on 16th St. Thad's wife Kate, a native of Harrisburg, joined the TEP team as Financial Manager in 2009. Before becoming a plumber, Thad served his hometown of Carterville, Illinois as a firefighter.
In his youth, he considered a country music singing career, and enjoys weekend trips to Nashville, Tennessee. He resides in Herrin with his wife and two sons. Our mission is to bring quality, affordable plumbing service to Southern Illinois. Thad Ellet Plumbing strives to treat your home and business as its own.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Thad Plumbing! They were so professional from beginning to end. Hedi at reception was pleasant and friendly on the phone, and our service tech Tim was professional, knowledgeable, and kind throughout the entire service. We are so thankful we called Thad Plumbing!

I have used Thad Ellet plumbing before and they did a great job. I love the guys who come out. They are so great, have great customer service and do a good job. I called for an estimate to fix the garbage disposal because there was something in it. I had looked and felt down there but couldn't find it. The gentleman reached down grabbed out a small clear sippy cup insert. They called Thad to see how much to charge because it was fixed but required no repair and was as simple as them reaching in and grabbing it out. He came back with 97.00. I paid it but I am extremely upset that it was that expensive

Excellent service; very prompt, organized, and courteous. Agree with a previous reviewer: save yourself time and headache and call this company first. I had them install 2 new toilets for me. They provided an estimate during my first call to them (which was 100% accurate), ordered the toilets and had them on hand within 24 hours, and then arrived at the appointment time to install them exactly when they said they would--an rare and wonderful anomaly in the construction/home maintenance industry! They also have the capability of accepting payment and issuing receipts/invoices electronically

* Courteous - Our tenants LOVED all of the employees and were amazed how they cleaned up everything when the job was completed.
* Above & Beyond - Of course it's plumbing & 99% of the time, things don't always go as planned. Thad Ellet's crew stayed late into the evening to assure everything was completed as promised
