worst builder ever. Cuts corners, and we have a lot of issues as a result. Do yourself a favor, and find another builder. They build pure trash.

We started the home building process in June 2020, paid deposit and they still have not started digging our home. The communication is poor and unprofessional. Please do not use them to build your home. It will be over a year before it is completed. This has been an emotional roller coaster when it should be a very joyous time.

They write the home purchase contract with terms that are a big inconvenience and puts our family at a big disadvantage. For example, our home wont be completed for at least 8 months from now. They require we start to sell our current months within 10 days of being under contract. This means we will have to sell and find a place to live while they have not even started building our house. They require we pay the seller $15k deposit within 7 days of contract. Our deposit is non-refundable. If we change our mind or get sick and lose our jobs we lose this huge sum of money. The worst experience ever. I signed my contract on April 2020 and deposited $14k within a week. I was given the closing date of February 2021. It’s almost January and they just dug my house.I understand COVID might have affected their timeline but there’s no communication at all. No one has reached out to me about the status of my house. I
asked the sales representative, and all got was it’ll be done 6 months after it’s dug and she don’t know when it’s dug. I regret building with Homewood. I wish I could give zero star. Staffs are very unprofessional too. Pulte is much better. I wished

This has been the worst experience in my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The individuals who work for this company are the most dishonest manipulative group of people. I asked to terminate my contact due to the misleading information provided to me during the signing of my contract. Once I advised me sales rep that I didn't wish to move forward its become a nightmare. I was advised that I needed to obtain an attorney. My sales rep tried to bully me into staying in our contract. I specifically told my sales rep to his face that building is cool and all, however, we are financially educated and conscious. He

Beautiful homes that are highly customizable however terrible customer service with no follow through.
Craftsmanship and attention to detail are severely lacking overall. Our experience building a half a million dollar house has been frustrating at best. 6 months after moving in and we still do not have a functioning front door nor do we have a completed kitchen, fireplace, or exterior stone. We have experienced up to 8 inches of settlement throughout the yard and in the asphalt driveway. Master shower held together with painters tape for 4 months after move in, uneven floors that required subflooring

I would give zero stars if I could. I think it speaks volumes when the ONLY review the owner responded to was the 5 star rating (not a shock from Homewood).
Working with Homewood was supposed to be a magical experience building our dream home. The process and relationships we had with the entire Homewood team fell extremely short of “magical” outside of Denny, he saved the sale for HW. So Mark, next time you see Denny be sure to thank him for your next European vacation.
I work in sales and understand a sales person wanting to get the deal signed and move on. However, when you make your sales

Horrible to deal with! I've had to witness first hand our family fight and beg to get the basics that they paid for installed in their home. Never have I seen a company with such shoddy craftsmanship and such a difficult VP who offers absolutely no acknowledgement of issues. They are going on 6 months and still have cabinetry hanging off the walls, a non functioning front door, improperly installed shower doors, incorrect stone on the front. The list goes on & on. Choose another builder. You'll be happy you did.

The worst home building experience we've ever had. Promises to fix things were attempted by under-qualified contractors and hired help which then led to more issues. Six months in and they have yet to honor fixes that were written into closing statement. Now we're hesitant to even have them perform needed fixes because they are always done with no care, never fully completed and never done right. As a business owner, I know the value of customer service and they obviously do not. The Vice President of Homewood/Trinity has been combative since our interaction at our home close where he forced us

Our experience with Homewood has been extremely frustrating at time during our build process and even after we closed.
We first ran into challenge with our original Sales Person. He had lack of follow up and was not an advocate for us during the building process. At one point we felt the build had stalled compare other house on our street that had started at or about the same time. We were told don't worry about them. After about five weeks of seeing no progress we asked for an on-site meeting with him and the site supervisor. We were told that is not something we do and refused to meet with us
