Locked out of your RV or camper???

I found myself locked out of my camper at James Island County Park campground with phone, purse, camper and car keys, and EVERYTHING locked inside. Quite a predicament to be in! I was appreciative of Billy Reid, the owner of Coastal Lock & Safe, responding in a timely manner to quickly unlock the camper door without any harm done. He lives locally and is not farmed out by some company in Chicago or elsewhere to respond. The first three companies I called operate in this fashion. Excellent service from the initial call to completing the work. Needed locks Re-keyed as well as some adjustments to a digital lock. They did a great job and were very quick. He even went above and adjusted a lock so it would work better. I would not hesitate to use them again.

CLS came out on a Sunday, once Daniel arrived he replaced dead bolt and door lock, he did a great job, paid attention to detail and courteous. Thank you

If I could give 0 star I would. Billy told me he has worked on many old French doors so I trusted him with our 180 year old French doors on our historic house. BIG MiSTAKE!!!! I had to leave and left my husband to pay him. $352 later what do I have to show for it? 1) our $150 door hardware installed with silver screws instead of the brass ones that came with! The brass screws were no where to be found. Lovely right???? So glad I purchased expensive door hardware to throw away the matching screws and use easier to install ones. Outstanding all the way. Billy was super responsive: stopped in the middle of a job to take my call and was able to schedule me less than 18 hrs later. Knowledgeable, professional and REASONABLE on prices! I Spoke to two other locksmiths prior to Coastal L&S who absolutely price gouged me. Billy was like a surgeon on the locks and a pleasant man to speak with. Highly recommend.

I've wanted to write this review much sooner, but wasn't able to do it and I believe Billy may still remember. I called Billy and asked if he could come by any time in the near future for rekeying some locks, or something like that, since I didn't know anything about it. He said he would be here in an hour and my jaw actually dropped. He came, looked and made it happen like it was nothing! Billy is a wonderful, reliable person, which I was able to count on and his expertise on knowledge showed. He is very reasonable, especially for this otherwise expensive area!

Called Billy to fix a deadbolt cylinder that had fallen out. He came that day to fix and was gracious about saying the previous fix it guy had just done a poor job of anchoring it within a double door deadbolt. Bottom line....fixed in a few hours, reasonable price and nice honest guy. He's on my contact list now. Should be on yours too.

After purchasing a new home in Charleston we asked Coastal (Billy) to come out and change the locks. He arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and after a brief discussion of what we wanted, went right to work. He was polite and made fast work of the 5 locks we asked him to change. After he left, we noticed we forgot one lock. He made time the next day to return and rekeyed the forgotten lock. Outstanding customer service!!! Will definitely use again for other lock issues.

Coastal Lock & Safe did a great job. They promptly called me back. They were here quickly. They were professional and got the job done, and the pricing is very reasonable. "Safe" in their name is not a marketing gimmick, they really do work on safes, unlike some of the other locksmiths in the area. Coastal Lock and Safe is who I will call in the future. Thank you!

Called Billy after finding the listing on Yelp, and they were located on James Island near me. Told me he would call in a bit when he was nearby. I had said it was not an emergency just needed an old file cabinet unlocked. He called back within a short time and arrived as promised shortly after that. It took him about 30 seconds to unlock my file cabinet! I asked him to take a look at the locks and deadbolts in the house.
