After touring the Parade of Homes last year and comparing HBD’s finish product to other builders, we knew that they were the right builder for us for our new home we would build this year in 2021. UPDATE: Since this seems to be the only way to get a response from HBD. Still not resolved. The temperature differences are still happening, and the only proposed solution by HBD and their contractor is to adjust the dampers.....every time we need to go back and forth between heat and cool. NOT A SOLUTION. Fix the problem and fire your contractor. We bought a house with 4 bedrooms, but since one isn't livable, we got stuck with a false bill of sale.
Watch out! HBD has all the right visuals and the homes look good, BUT watch out on the materials and systems (and contractors) used. As repeated in

HBD was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. We purchased remotely from out of state, but the team made us feel like were top priority the whole time. Susan helped us through the entire process from design to purchase, and Brad made sure all our design choices were completed perfectly. Homes by Dickerson is one of several builders in Briar Chapel. We were searching for a home in BC and looked at a HBD home that was seven years old. We were so impressed with the build quality on this home, but it was sold before we placed our offer. Homs by Dickerson installs defective Lennox HVAC units. Have lived in home for five years and have had to replace the evaporator coil and compressor for our ground floor HVAC unit at $5000 over last two years. Found out today the second floor HVAC unit evap coil also requires replacement. The compressor may also need replacement due to impurities in the Freon line due to the leaks. Dickerson purchased all he Lennox units installed in our subdivision of 42 homes. Over half of homes have had issues similar to ours. Found out the Lennox units are Builders Grade meaning bottom of the barrel product

I am so happy to have bought a lovely new home the castlebrooke by Homes By Dickerson. This would be my 4th time buying a new construction. two were in New York City, One in Ct. I was scared of buying again after horrible experience with different home builders, from Flooding damage in my first week of my home, and many other problems in the new build.
