After graduating, Ron worked at Amp, Inc. as a technical illustrator. He was committed to Amp for 11 years before having the courage to start his own construction business. Chris recieved his Associates Degree of Applied Science in Building Construction Technology in 1988. He went on to recieve his Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State in 1991.

Our experience with Mione Family Remodeling was in a word “superb”! We used them to transform office space just off of our kitchen to a pantry where we are now able to conveniently access grocery items that used to require us going to the pantry we setup in the basement. We also had a trash drawer installed that allowed us to eliminate two separate receptacles we had for trash and recyclables. The entire process from design to scheduling to renovation was effortless. Although our job was not very big (tub to shower conversion, new floor and fan in master bath and a new kitchen sink) we never felt “small”! The workers were prompt, clean, friendly and polite - and did great work. The other contractors - plumber, electrician, tile “guy” - also fantastic. I would absolutely call Mione Family Remodel again.

I was referred to Mione by a co-worker after my ceiling in my kitchen had begun to sag and break due to some structural issues. I was concerned and nervous because I've never dealt with contractor type services before and was unsure how the process is done and how the cost would be as I am a recent first time home owner. However, after the quote and speaking with Chris, he made it very easy to understand the work that needed to be done and where the cost came from and answered all of my other questions.

I used Mione Family Remodeling on a replacement window project after obtaining several quotes. I live in a historic district, and a number of vendors wouldn't even offer an estimate. Chris (the owner) dealt with the city very patiently over many months to obtain the necessary approvals. The installation went smoothly, and the workers were professional, respectful and clean. Should have pulled away from him at that time, but had 2 months put into this already and did not want to start over. He was contacting me daily about project until it started. I first used Mione Family remodeling for replacement windows in our house in 2005. They were very professional, gave me an estimate, information about the windows they were proposing and several referrals in my neighborhood so I could check them out.
