A storm has caused damage to one or more of the trees in your backyard. Your instinct is to remove the damaged, yet standing trees on your own. However, tree removal is a dangerous process that can cause more problems than the initial damage caused to the trees. If you are not experienced at removing trees, the time has come to contact a business that has considerable experience completing tree removal projects.
You should look at tree trimming and pruning as we look at haircuts. The only difference is that for us, trimming hair should be done every few weeks or so. For trees, the limb and branch growth process can take several months, if not a couple of years to warrant trimming and pruning. Nonetheless, the moment you plant trees into the ground, you should prepare to prune and trim what grows out of them.

This is not the place to buy your fire wood. I had a relatively good experience with Hernandez in the past for tree removal, so I didn’t read into their reviews for fire wood when I saw an add they posted on Facebook market place. $200 for a half cord or $400 for a full cord delivered and stacked. Those are fair prices, and their delivery guys arrived an hour early from their scheduled time. They proceeded to stack the delivered firewood in my rack shown below. The amount pictured is what they tried to sell me for $200. This is what they were trying to tell me was a half cord. The wood rack is

I usually don't give a review but I had to this time. They got here on time and were done within 40 minutes. Another company came prior and said they couldn't do it because my water pump was right there. Hernandez did it with NO damage to my water pump. They also cleaned up really well. Will recommend.

EXCELLENT service! These guys are extremely professional, prompt and thorough. I did not meet the owner but I wouldn’t have known it. His nephew “Ever” represented like a CEO. He explained everything they were going to do, the capabilities of the crew and the equipment. They over delivered on the service and cleaned up well. I had a very large Sweet Gum that was dropping large branches with had Weeping Polypore (Inonotus dryadeus) growing at the base of the trunk and it had to come down. I got an estimate on a Thursday and service ways scheduled for the next day. This is the third time I have have hired a tree company (this was my first experience with Hernandez) to do work in my yard and this is the first time I was able to be scheduled that quickly and for a reasonable price. The crew came on time and they worked throughout the day. It took a few more hours than expected because the tree was just really large and
