Gentry Moving provided a great experience from start to finish for my recent move from RI to CT. They were quick to provide a quote, and the booking process was easy. On the day-of move, the guys arrived in the middle of the arrival window and were quick to get everything moved out of my apartment. The three movers I worked with were friendly, professional, and knew how to get the job done. No complaints about the three flights of stairs in my new apartment either! They even gave me some suggestions for the room configuration as well. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Gentry and highly recommend

I have used Gentry Moving twice. The owner Christine Crum is an amazing person who was attentive to every need of my move. The moving crew was professional, showed up on time and provided me with a comfort of knowing my belongings were moved with care. No issues with breakage, wall damage or cleanliness. The crew was EXCEPTIONAL and kind as my last move was due to a death and they were very compassionate and kind with my moms things. These were both longer distance moves and they were very efficient with driving times. I highly recommend Gentry moving for any move you may need.

I had to arrange a move from Vero Beach, FL to RI on fairly short notice. Not only was Gentry flexible and responsive, their movers were top notch, professional and polite. I could not be at the move location in person, but it couldn't have run smoother! Many thanks to Pamela and Mike at the Gentry office, as well as Kenneth and the rest of the move team. I would highly recommend this moving company! Their service is excellent!

Wow!! This was my first time using real movers and I was nervous because I had heard so many horror stories. Gentry was amazing. They did a perfect job, and were so nice and funny and professional. The leader of our crew was Tony who has been with the company for 9 years and he and his whole team were just incredible!!! They took such good care of us. Will refer them to everyone I know. Don’t bother shopping around and have cash on hand to tip day of because believe me they will earn it!

Christine and staff are professional, helpful, knowledgeable... they deliver what they say they will deliver in a timely fashion with very competitive pricing. Our job was small in relocating my mother-in-law from her home to a retirement community and they treated her with respect as if the job was a cross-country corporate move. they would be on the top of my list of movers in the future.

The movers were professional and kind. I could not of asked for a better experience. I had my stuff in storage with them for 9 months! Not one item came back broken or damaged. They did a great job packing up my home and delivering everything to my new place. Very hard workers getting everything into my basement in law at my daughters house. I was so pleased everything fit. I highly recommend Gentry Moving and Storage!

Movers didn't finish the job, left the first place they were moving without telling us and didn't move all the things, when they got to the destination my 71 year old mother was berated and verbally assaulted for not being on time after they didn't tell her they had left. We have to hire another company to finish the move. Completely unprofessional, will never use this sorry excuse for a company again.

Gentry Moving is the most unethical, dishonest company that I've dealt with in my 30+ years on this earth. My wife and I had a straightforward residential home move. Gentry's movers:
* caused significant damage to our house that almost ruined our home sale and cost over $1,300 to repair
* openly acknowledged that I was being grossly overcharged for their services. I was being charged hourly and the movers would disappear for long periods and openly admit they like to take their time on nice weather days.
* stole a valuable item (worth $200+)
* broke several items that were packaged properly
* caused significant damage to our house that almost ruined our home sale and cost over $1,300 to repair

I have used Gentry 3 times in the last 2 years. I moved my primary residence in December 2016. In one day, 3 men and 1 truck we did a full house move (pack, move and unpack). We packed all of our stuff except for wall hangings... we just did not know how to protect them. Gentry to the rescue. It was a professional experience at a very reasonable price. Those men worked hard!!
Our second experience was a small office move. Again, a top notch experience. The movers were efficient and respectful of our stuff and office spaces.

Beware! They will bait and switch you. I have moved all over New England and never had a problem until I used this company. They quoted one price and I had to write a check for over a thousand dollars after I arrived at my new home. For example They did not bring packing materials which I had to pay for and they underestimated the time it would take to move from one state to another. The most upsetting part of the move was although I clearly stated I needed them to unpack the boxes and take the packing materials away , they told me when I got to my new home they had to go home as my time was up

Used Gentry today to move my elderly mom. They could not have been more understanding, patient, helpful, or hardworking. I cannot recommend them enough. Last week my family entrusted Gentry to move us. We were anxious and worried as all moving families I imagine typically are. Definitely recommend Gentry Moving! We just completed a huge 3 day move that required a total of 4 trucks and 8 men. What could have been a nightmare because of weather, timing and other logistics, actually turned out to be a great experience.
All of the guys were completely professional, worked non-stop and were so respectful of our belongings and our homes. Jay M, Joe Joe, John O, John C, Papi, Tony,Anthony and Kenny were fantastic!

I could never in good faith recommend a company that has such disregard for the job they perform. They did not arrive within the agreed upon time. The movers were highly unpleasant and uncooperative. And not only did they damage the apartment and stairwell of the former apartment they damaged furniture in the move as well. I will not be using this company in the future and will be advising others do the same.

I had a great moving experience thanks to Gentry Moving. David and George, Jr arrived a few minutes early and we're ready to work. Despite less than optimal conditions, they unloaded my PODS and had everything in my new apartment in less than 3 hours. Both guys were very courteous and professional. I will definitely use this company the next time I move.

Gentry Moving was referred to me by a coworker who recently moved from Mansfield to Attleboro, MA. Karen worked hard to find time to fit our move into their schedule (I wanted to move out within two days of my call with her). They made it happen! Karen said they would arrive between 8am and 9am. They arrived promptly at 8am on a Friday (in morning commuter traffic in the city!). I was already impressed.

Never got a chance to do business with these guys. Good thing! After informing them of my intended move, likely sometime in June this year, I took off work early to show a guy my entire house. I then waited 3 days for a quote before sending a reminder email. My reply informed that, not only did they record my email address incorrectly, but that they "had no availability" during my timeframe. I mentioned that I was flexible, but was brushed off with a " we're going to be busy all summer". So why not tell me that right off? Why make me take time off to meet with you? Why
