STUDIO.BNA architects is located in Athens, Georgia. We are a design + research based architectural studio with an ideology rooted in an integration of site, environment, experience, and creativity. Space is informed by movement, light, and perception. Built architecture is most often successful when its influence is derived by space conceived in this way.
We strive for simple and honest solutions to making; simple lines, composition, balance, and material integrity. Sustainable material and energy choices are inherent in all of our work. We strive to be efficient and considerate in our actions and our outcomes. Some solutions are subtle, some are bold and obvious, and every small step makes a progressive difference in the future of architecture as a modus for sustainable practice.
The body of our work to date represents a careful approach to a broad range of project types. Our studio work encompasses a wide range of typologies including commercial and mixed-use, adaptive re-use, habitat design, dental and endodontics, boutique lodging, student accommodations, restaurant + bar, and private residential.
