My husband and I came in this past Tuesday. We were looking for a dining room table and chairs. We found lots of very nice furniture but absolutely no one would help us. It was quite pitiful to be honest. They were helping another customer so I understand they were busy but... they could have said “be right with you” or anything really!! We were probably in the store for half an hour and definitely could be seen. They had to walk past us at one point in time. I don’t think I will ever go back if that’s how they treat customers. I stopped in one day and found a picture & dining table that I wanted. I should have bought them then. Every time I've gone back there they are closed. I've gone back 5 times! It really is a shame. You pretty much have to be unemployed and have mental telepathy to shop here. There are so many other similar places with better store hours.

I shop here a lot and have bought small items. My house is full of furniture so I do not need any furniture. I have bought napkin rings shaped like horses that I use on my Christmas tree as ornaments since I have a Kentucky tree that has equestrian theme and anything Kentucky. I have bought platters and napkins. They have a good eye for consignment items! Even though I do not need furniture they have a great selection of tasteful furnishings! I enjoy walking around after I bowl just for ideas for arranging my table or furniture. Beautifully displayed items.

Love this place! I found The Great Room when I first moved to Lexington and love the eclectic mix of furniture (both new and consigned) as well as home decor. I have purchased my dining room table (which is handmade locally from reclaimed wood) a curio cabinet, chairs and a vintage wall cabinet and LOVE them all. I get so many compliments on my dining room table and bench! The owners are super sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend shopping here!

WOW!! This showroom is beautiful! Totally didn't realize when I first walked in that this is a consignment store. They have such a great range of furniture and decor, for every taste and every price range. Cute seasonal stuff, as well as foundational furniture pieces. Beautifully merchandised. The associates are friendly and helpful without being pushy. Love that it's locally owned! So glad I discovered The Great Room! I will certainly be back!
