Cannot speak highly enough about Mr. Build. We have used them for two different projects, which in itself says something. We were so impressed with the first project that we hired them again. Best project we have done in our 40+ years as a homeowner. Michelle was our project manager and handled everything with care and professionalism. Joaquim was our construction manager and was very thorough with great attention to detail. Together they completed the project in less time than we were given and did a beautiful job. This is the second time we have hired Mr. Build and worked with Ami. They redid two master bathroom and both turned out great. Just like in the first renovation, their work is top quality. It has been two years since March of 2017, when Mr. Build (Ami Gilad) finished a 6 month remodel of our home. Recently I noticed a small leak from the stand alone bathtub and called Ami. He had someone out there the next morning and the problem was resolved; he wouldn't accept any payment.

Called Mr. Build to make an appointment. They sent over a sales person by the name of Berry. Once I decided to go with him. The contract was written out for a different construction company (Jeda construction). I was scammed out of $11,000 by these people. I believe there is some kind of a scam going on and I was certainly scammed. Stay away.

We were referred to Mr Build Construction by our interior designer for a master bathroom/walk-in closet remodel. We completed a whole house remodel 3 years prior. We ended up being unhappy with the master bathroom due to a combination of the poor workmanship of our previous contractors and the layout our architect produced.

We give Mr. Build and Ami the highest mark possible and can't praise him (and thank him) enough for work he and his team did on our massive remodel. Ami was wonderful to work with! He did a great job on our house, was responsive, and has great guys working for him. I was so impressed by how clean they managed to leave the house each afternoon afternoon. I also appreciated how thoroughly they covered chandeliers and furniture to manage the dust.

My wife and I decided to remodel our single story house in west LA, and received 3 bids from contractors. Some of these were through our own connections and some were through the architect. Asaf (Jacob) from Mr Build's company, was very responsive and provided us with the most reasonable price for the remodel, so we naturally went with him. The job on a 5 bedroom house with a second story addition was not small and as with any similar project, it required a continuous observation from both myself and my wife, to ensure that things were done right at each step.

After dealing with a difficult contractor, we decided to look for another. Ami and his team came highly recommended and we couldn't be happier. Our kitchen, floors and fireplace look amazing! Their attention to detail is incredible. His crew was very polite and always arrived on time. We hired Mr Build to assist us in remodeling our master bathroom and replace flooring throughout the house, along with sanding down and staining ceiling beams in our family room. They were professional, clean, and very honest in regards to pricing. Ami was always available and stopped by often to check on the work progress. We have done numerous remodels and this was our first time using Mr Build. We won't use anyone else again. They are the best. Their tile work is amazing and their sense of urgency is one that you don't find to often with contractors. We highly recommend them

UPDATE - After posting a Yelp review, we were contact by Mr. Build. They said that there had been an extenuating circumstance that had prevented them from providing the quote and said they would send one over. It took four more days later, but we received a quote. The quote felt like perfunctory - there were no line items included, just a solid, round number, which was significantly higher than our other three quotes. Instead of quote that didn't feel genuine, I would have just preferred an email that said our project wasn't a good fit.

2 weeks ago I had a problem with my water heater, which is under warranty. The warranty providers set me up with Mr. Build to do the repair, and sent me the replacement part overnight via FedEx.
Around 9am the morning of the part's expected arrival, Vanessa from Mr. Build called me to set up the appointment for 1:30pm. The ETA by FedEx was 10:30, so everything made sense.

I found Mr. Build via HomeAdvisor. I requested an in person estimate. Today they called me to ask exactly what I want to do: new cabinets and counters in my kitchen. The lady said that starts at $10,000. I said that doesn't work for me because I have an EXTREMELY small kitchen, a 7 ft long galley kitchen. Shouldn't an actual estimate be based off what I want to do? I guess this job was too small for them so they canceled my appointment.
