That being said, the last thing we would ever want to do, is to give our customers a reason to to have one single negative thought about us because of our painting experience with them.
In most cases, I prefer to see a picture of your project and a description of what you are wanting done before we schedule an estimate. Typically I can get solid numbers from pics and see if we are within your budget. If we are, we will come out and go through the process from start to finish. It's as simple as emailing or texting me a picture of your desired finish, I will then breakdown the steps involved on a sample door from my shop. I thought I had found a great painter, as it turned out I had not.
I gave Steve two new doors to paint, prior to Thanksgiving and after the first of the year I made repeated calls to him that he never returned. Finally my adult son called him and he called back and had two kids deliver and rehang the doors in March. The kids left without telling me so I couldn't give them the check. Upon examining the doors I realized they had put a hole in one door and the other door had a missing strike plate and I can barely use the dead bolt to lock the door. And the door does't look like it has
