I got a shadow box fence installed in 2015. The experience back then was okay, but they were definitely more costly. When I tried to negotiate the price, they said they used quality materials and provided long-term repair service for any future damage and so they could not reduce the price, which was acceptable. Fast forward 5 years, many of the fence pieces started warping and nails were coming off. To prevent any major damage in the future, I called Blue's fence again to fix the issues. They came out right away, looked at the damage, but never got back to me with a repair estimate. I called them

Called 3 times and left 3 voice-mails in the last 3 weeks. I even tried calling 3 months ago... Nothing. If they don't even return a call-back for a potential quote, imagine trying to get something from them when things go sour. I'm seriously going to begin getting a general contractors license because this town is in some serious need of good contractors.

I don't know, honestly, how well they are but I have applied there for a job and like all other businesses/employers of Lafayette, with my clean background, no one has hired me but hindered my by me not having work when it could have made a big difference in my life. Is why I have leaving this evil and ate up selfish state of Indiana.

Blue's has made some changes in management and have improved their service. So while some of the negative reviews of the past are probably accurate, I think they have fixed the problem. They came out and fixed my fence two days ago. Did a great job at a fair price. I am happy and I would hire them again.

Fence boards warped within 2 weeks after installation. Repeated calls to them went unanswered. After they received a letter from my attorney, they came and replaced a half dozen or so boards. They did not replace numerous other boards that were warped. Now, not even a year after the fence was installed, the board on the edge of the gate has chipped and broken off. They do not stand behind their product or service. I do not recommend them.

This place is a joke. Called to get an estimate on a fence repair. They sent somebody out about a week later to take a look. I told them what I wanted done, he took down some notes and said it would be about a week before he had the estimate. After a couple weeks of not hearing from them we called and were told it would be about another week before they could have an estimate put together. That's the last I've heard from them and that was a couple months ago. Basically just blew us off.

They did a nice enough job, but they took 6-8 weeks to complete the fence, doing it in phases and making us wait 3 weeks before they started again, and then we'd have to wait another 2 weeks before they worked on the fence again. They gave a quote and then increased the price afterwards. This was for only three sides of a fence since one side was already shared by a neighbor and the yard is small.

They did a great job in the install. Workers were very kind and professional over all. The one major issue that we had was with communication. They are a small business and were down one crew. They installed our posts on time, but took a little longer to get the rest of the fence done. Overall we are very happy, but would suggest improving in communication about plans when there are issues. I would use them in the future for our next fence project.

I am a business owner myself and this is the worst company I have ever used for anything. They never answer the phone and they only returned my call once to do the bid. I accepted the bid and set up a date to get my fence installed. They never showed up to do the job. I called numerous times and left a message and never received a return phone call. I went ahead an hired Mr Fence It and had a great experience.
