Established in Germany in 1819, Thonet, or Gebruder T 1819 in the US, is considered a pioneer of furniture design throughout the world. Based in Lombardy, Italy, Catellani & Smith is a lighting design studio experimenting with new materials, shadow, and the influence of nature to create works of art that take into account the importance of energy efficiency. Established in 1989 by Enzo Catellani, today it is a leading company in the lighting sector, unique for its position in the craft industry where it also remainins in tune with the most advanced technology.

Been working with Claudia over the past 15 years on various projects and I have to say she has an eye for design! A great colorist, coupled with her super keen design sense, it's been an absolute pleasure working with her. She's a great listener and accommodates to ones personal taste. We value her knowledge and viewpoint when it comes to the art of design. Her professional suggestions have never steered us wrong and heightened the appeal of every job we hired her for. My wife and I would not hesitate to use her again.

I was lucky enough to work with Claudia at The Residents. I called from New York because I was unable to get in touch with any Hay retailers in New York (go figure). I randomly chose SF and again, was lucky enough to get Claudia. I was working on behalf of a client for an international order and things were getting complicated; but Claudia stuck with it and got all the information needed. Unfortunately, we were not able to move forward with the purchase solely based on turnaround time out of her hands - but based on her support, communication and above and beyond problem solving, I would work with
