Quickly responded to our request for a quote as we were negotiating the purchase of the home. Understood it would be a number of months before we could get the work done, and coached us on timing the removal to complete it within HOA timelines. Once they arrived, the 5 man crew was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and productive. They got the neighbor to give them access onto his property in order to reduce the risk and time involved in the removal. They ground a huge stump down, and helped me remove and grind the most obvious and invasive roots. Very happy with the job. Very glad they got the job

We had 7 cottonwoods removed and Peter, Tony, and the rest of the crew did a super fantastic job !! They are friendly, professional, and a hard working well organized crew. The entire removal , which included grinding the stumps took less than 5 hrs. The clean up was exceptional and very complete and detailed. I highly recommend Southern Utah Tree removal for any and all tree related problems.

Contacted Peter for a quote on having two trees removed one was fairly large! The quote given could not be beat!! The crew that came was fast and friendly. The work was done in about 4 hours or less and you can hardly tell that there were ever trees there! Thank you so much Southern Utah Tree Service!!

I could not be happier with the service I received from Southern Utah Tree Service. I had a gnarly problem with a toppled Yucca Tree which contained several segments some about 30 feet high. I had no idea how it would be accomplished to be rid of it. I was particularly concerned with a good portion of it having fallen on my neighbors yard. Peter was great to quickly get back to me, come out and do an assessment and tell me how it would be accomplished. The price was very fair and they took care of my problem quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate to contact them again. This was a real load

This review is to follow up on one I left nearly four years ago. Unfortunately, it does not reflect well on Peter Penta and Southern Utah Tree Service. I'm leaving the earlier review (see below) where I gave four stars, just to be fair.
If you're going to deal with Southern Utah Tree Service (and I wouldn't recommend it) be sure to get your estimate/bid in writing, and then confirm that bid before work begins. Here's why. Several weeks ago, Peter came to our house and gave us a verbal estimate of "$800 or less and probably less" to remove a mulberry tree. It took repeated calls, but his crew finally
