Locally owned and operated by Cape Elizabeth resident Nick Tammaro, Tammaro Landscaping began 20 years ago providing yard maintenance services. Today the business consists of four separate divisions including landscape maintenance, softsapes, hardscapes and light excavation while employing 20 plus full-time employees with additional seasonal staff.
Twenty plus years of experience planting on the Maine Coast has given us the expertise to know what vegetation thrives in our unique environment. What works for your neighbor, may not work for your property. There are many factors to consider when planting and a great deal of time and money can be wasted without the experience and knowledge we can provide.

Thanks to Nick and his wonderful crew, we now have a beautiful petanque court at our home in Cape Elizabeth. Petanque is a French game of boules, somewhat similar to Italian bocce, and is played on a gravel court. Nick was a joy to consult with and was a careful listener and I knew right away he could envision my dream and had the experience to make it a reality. The job started ahead of schedule. Nick Tammaro and his team have, once again, done a fantastic job for me. When I contracted for work at my property in Cape Elizabeth, I expected that the work would be done thoroughly and professionally. We bought new construction therefore had a "blank slate" with which to work. Nick and his crews did an outstanding job building a rock retaining wall, a patio and a couple of walkways, re-grading and loaming our property, planting gardens and hydro seeding our lawn. The crews specialize so we worked with three different groups. All three crews were friendly, helpful and professional. They arrived on time and worked constantly through the day, each crew completing the job when they said they would. You may be able to find someone cheaper, but you will not find anybody better than Tammaro. We cannot
