Recently took a tour of Restore Restoration's newest facility in Melrose Park and what's impressive is that they did the remodeling themselves and when they consult with their clients at their facility they're able to show them the quality of their work! Looks sharp! My go to person is Silvia Aguilar, always answers my calls/texts and my clients love the fact that she's bilingual and punctual!

After a car smashed through my garage I called Restore Construction to help me not only board up the giant hole that was left after my door was smashed in, but to also make sure the garage wasn't going to fall and destroy everything that was still in the garage.

Make Restore your # 1 call, Patrick, Candi and their team have been great in helping us deal with insurance and repair. They were able to help us find temporary housing, get our clothing rushed for cleaning and really advocate on our behalf! Very nice people, I could call or text on weekend , or late evening and Patrick was their to answer my questions. They were fast, friendly and knew what they were doing. From the first day to the last. We were so overwhelmed when our brick home was hit by a car leaving a Hugh hole in the wall. Restore was the first to show up the day after our devastating fire. From that point forward they were comforting and professional. They were able to work with our insurance company State Farm and with us every step of the way. While there were understandable covid related delays we got our devastated home gutted and rebuilt in about 7 months. … We also had a great deal of our posessions packed, stored and returned in a professional manner. It was overall a very long and involved process as one would expect but the result was that our home was rebuilt better than before and all up to code

Restore Restoration is an incredibly easy company to work with. I called for a biohazard clean-up for the Agency I work for and they got the information they needed, which only took a minute, and gave me a very reasonable price. They did not try to upsell me like most companies in this business do. Service was performed same-day. The staff were friendly, professional, and great communicaors. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

My mother and aunts house caught fire in 2014, Restore provided a board up for them. They naturally wanted to use the same company for the build. Well, it took 2 years for them to fix the house, they only had two men working on the home. They had to take Restore to court because they did subpar work, made false documents that they submitted to the insurance company. They also fixed the house it seems with crazy glue. Everything that they have done has come apart or loose in 5 yrs. This is crazy how could what they called a brand new home look like this after a short period of time. Save yourself

My parents' house had fire damage last summer which required a full gut of the interior. Mike and Chris at Restore were very professional throughout the entire process, and I would highly recommend them to anyone going through a similar situation. They were involved from day 1 of the damage assessment, itemizing damaged personal belongings, coordination with the city/ permitting, and restoration/ construction of the space. I have no hesitation in recommending Restore Construction. We live in a large community where several homes sustained damage from a spring storm that brought hail and strong winds. Luckily my home was not as bad as others. I immediately called the folks at Restore Construction who worked tirelessly with State Farm to get all of my damage covered. Many of my neighbors were not as lucky. A lot of them had several issues and struggle even six months later to get there homes fixed. The local contractors have run out of product. The owners sat me down & took the time to explain the process even though I was in a state of shock.

In any situation, be prepared to do your own share of research and ask questions, especially if you've never had an insurance claim! Matt was a huge help on all of this. ** update ** 10/2018 ** though pleased with the outcome I'm very disappointed with the "follow up". I have been waiting since August for my reimbursement for my window treatments & a/c units bought out of pocket ($4500.00). Either I get the run around just ignored. very, very disappointed and STILL WAITING.

After the fire in our house, Restore Construction came through and helped us get our life back to normal. They provided guidance with the insurance company and the restoration of the house, which was very… helpful. Construction went well throughout the process until the finishing touches at the end. At that point I felt the contractors were cutting corners and rushing to get the job done on schedule. My house on the Northshore was horribly damaged due to flood damage, so we had a pretty significant Insurance Claim to deal with. Pat and Mike at Restore did an excellent job helping us through the entire process and making it completely understandable to us. They provided us with options and we trusted their recommendations. The whole process was seamless - they worked directly with the insurance company for us and quickly restored our house back to its full potential. Excellent quality and very fast work. AVOID! PLEASE AVOID!
These guys did work for an insurance claim in my condo several years back. Each and everything they 'repaired' has failed and has had to be redone. The work was comically bad!
-They poured a shower basin without a waterproof membrane. It leaked into the unit below and had to be torn out. All tiles on the floor and wall popped off.
-Instead of re-piping the plumbing for the drain, they apparently used scrap pipes. To block off unnecessary T's and Y's, they sprayed Great stuff foam into the pipes to block them up. This, of course failed and caused

On December 29, 2016 I came home to find water pouring through my kitchen ceiling destroying everything - I felt helpless. My refrigerator, stove, tile, backsplash, and cabinets were soaked with the worst part being that all of our families photos were waterlogged. 100 years of our family's history was floating around in cardboard boxes. We did not enter into a contract with Restore because they made certain representations verbally. These were things that were quite important to us. There was no mention of them in the written contract. The written contract indicated that it was complete and that the verbal representations would have no effect. Additionally, the written contract was unspecific as to when they would perform the services and requested that we sign over all of the insurance proceeds to them before the work even started. We thought this seemed unprofessional and chose to hire someone else.

In March of 2016 My family lost our four bedroom home due to a big fire.
After contacting my insurance agent he recommended Restore Restoration & Construction. I didn't have a clue what to do. I had there crew come out and board up our house. The next day I met Robert Kay and his team of professionals. He explained the insurance claim process and how Restore could assist in rebuilding our home. Now we are back in our home and it's like having a new house.

I had my floors redone after water damage. Restore was recommended by the flooring co. as movers. They moved my stuff out, warehoused it and then moved me back in. Almost all of my wood furniture was gouged or scratched. My pots and pans were piled and stuffed into the cabinets ready to fall out. The drawers had contents poured into them straight from the boxes. Shoes and measuring cups and bowls were in the utility closet. All of my books were piled on chairs. My parents' house had a pretty bad fire last year and Restore did an AMAZING job restoring it. They were willing to work with my parents (who are not the easiest people to work with) to get the house not only to back to the way it was, but definitely made it better.
Chris, the project manager, was great. He's patient, reliable, and always communicative. Even though I live in New York and my parents are in Chicago, he always kept me up to date on the progress.
Restore definitely made a horrible situation a lot easier.
