I talked to West Coast fencing about the stains on my fence and I must have presented it improperly. I had a fence installed on my property from West Coast fencing and I wanted to know if the fencing was different from different companies and they stated, I believe they said they are the same, I tried to explain my neighbors fence from a different company was not staining and it had been up longer. I wasn’t trying to complain I was just gathering information. The person I talked to just stopped talking to me and said he was done talking and all vinyl fences and houses stain. He became a little

After setting an appointment 6 weeks out to get an estimate and confirming the appointment a couple days before the sales rep calls me to change the appointment. I couldn't change the time because I work his response was "take this time or go some place else" GLADLY! He didn’t apologize for not being able to make the date and he didn’t offer a later date he just gave me the ultimatum in a nasty tone. Even when I called to make the appointment they were very unprofessional, this is what we have take it or leave it attitude. They could have cared less.

They did a great job installing my fence in April but it hasn’t passed inspection and they won’t come back to fix it. I have called and left messages for the owner. I talked to the owner a a month ago and he said he was busy, but it’s been 3 months now. I have been patient but this is ridiculous.

"BUYER BEWARE"....This company Doesn't even deserve a "1".....I decided to go with West Coast for my fence installation. I Received a free quote, 2 days later received the pricing. I was informed that the fence would not be available for installation for 3 months. So I decided to take that time to pay the fence off completely. I was given a specific date for installation. So, when that day arrived, there was no courtesy phone call the day before or the day of installation. Would never recommend this company to anybody. Judging by the other reviews, the owner (and their employees) could use a lesson or two on effective communication and how to treat a customer. I had my vinyl fence installed in June, I called in early October and spoke to a woman about having them come and look at my one gate because you could only lock the gate from the outside and not from the backyard. She very rudely told me that they would send someone out to look at it. This was a Friday afternoon. I told her oh don't worry about it over the weekend. We can manage for now. She laughed and

Our squirrel approves! We had West Coast put in our original fence in 1999. We just had them replace a section that was damaged in the wind storms last fall. Their price was the best I got from several companies, their workers arrived on the scheduled day and finished it that day. It is well secured and should hold up for another 20 years we hope!

West Coast fence installed a new fence and driveway gate out of wood less than two years ago. They warranted their work for two years. Last week the wind tore off one of the driveway gates. Turns out the upper strap Hinge had only one screw that was screwed into wood. The other two screws missed the board completely.

I'm forced to write this review because of a very unfortunate conversation I had with Tom at West Coast Fence. The shared fence and two gates that West Coast installed for me and my neighbor was done in a timely and efficient manner. The workers were friendly and the end result was very satisfactory.
My single complaint, and the only reason I will never recommend this company, was my absolute horror over the outright rudeness of Tom (who I think is one of the bosses and possibly the owner). My issue was with one of the hinges on my gate. The spring retention pin couldn't be held in

I give this company Zero stars. I paid for a fence, however they did not use concrete to even stabilize the post that went to the gate. Now after just 2 weeks I cant even open the gate. Clearly concrete is at least needed to stabilize the gate and latch panels. Zero of the posts were concreted in. So I called the owner Tom and he said "go fix it yourself" and hung up on me. He actually said, 'it rained the other day, maybe it was the rain". Well any rain would not of mattered if the posts were concreted in. So when you see that the cost of West Coast Fence is less than

I don't normally write bad reviews (in a case where we have a bad experience i usually just don't say anything). I felt compelled to do so after the estimate experience we just had. It was horribly unpleasant. We were very disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer service we were shown by the man who came. He was very rude and negative on everything we wanted to do. We only needed a quote for a simple wood fence on a square lot. We have artificial turf and wanted it to be flush with the new fence. My family used this company for years but lately the customer service has gone to sh..... I called for service on a fence that was put up in 2017 that encloses my camper. I went to open the custom made gate and it literally fell apart. I called the company and the manager (Thomas) whom was very rude said that it would cost me $450 just to send someone out to look at the gate. The complete install cost of the job with two custom gates and fence in 2017 cost me less than $1000 so that seemed to be a little pricey to me. Thomas then became irate and told me either pay the money or to fu...fix it myself

My next door neighbor had a fence put in by these people. First, there was no record of any permit on the county website. After contacting a Commissioner, he forwarded me a number of the permit. I watched this being put up. At the end of the first day, something told me to check my sprinklers. I turned on the zone on the fence side. Two of my sprinklers were actually buried under the fence. The rest were safe, as they are inside my chain linked fence. They went over the property line to my property, so they will have to move a lot of fence. Noticed their upright posts are not "dipped"

BEWARE!! The owner is rude and mean! I have used them twice hoping to get a different result this time and didn't come close! They used my old gate when I was supposed to get new one per my contract and when I brought it to the owners attention he cussed at me! The staff can't even stand him it's obvious! They cut my old posts instead of taking them out and even left large gaps and cracks I had to fix myself!!! NEVER again will I use them or recommend this crappy company!

1 star is being generous... absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced! I fully agree with all of the other post about Tom, he is a horrible business owner that couldn't care less about the customer. I spent over 5k with this company and received nothing but a hard time from the front of the office employees all the way to the owner (Tom). They repeatedly screwed up my order (forgot hardware, ordered the wrong gates, called me informing me that things were in when they were not, etc), after being completely incorrect when telling me what type of fence was allowed in my area

I had quite a bit of 6' wood fence installed last summer and they were fast putting it up. The yard was left clean with no debris or piles of dirt anywhere. The stockade fence is stronger than big box store fence and has actual nails versus staples. I stopped by just yesterday to pick up 2 extra panels and three posts. I didn't have to touch a thing, they jumped on it bringing 2 forklifts straight to my truck with the materials and set them in the bed with great precision. I am a land surveyor so I see a lot of fences but theirs looks way better than most.

Found this business while searching for a very hard to find older discontinued fence picket. "Kelly" was able to assist me with a very close substitute from their stock and cut them down to 48" for me based solely on an email conversation. My order for 36 pickets was ready when I arrived.
In the midst of handling multiple phone orders, Kelly was still able to handle my meager order cheerfully and professionally
