Services
A Florida native and a graduate of the University of South Florida, Paul launched his career in the construction industry in the early 1970's, eventually founding First Florida Construction. Paul built First Florida on his wealth of experience, dynamic creativity, and the same attention to detail that is required to build custom luxury homes.
Our project consisted of a major remodel and expansion of our home as well as the construction of a guest house on our property. We went through a process with our architect, where we reviewed three or four different bidders. Although First Florida was not the lowest bidder, it's bid was the most complete and transparent.

First Florida Construction & Development is an amazing company and the only choice for us to entrust our Ocean Front home build. The skill level and knowledge of all staff is unmatched. Phone calls were returned at midnight. Multiple choices and prices were always given. The level of integrity starts with Paul and Mark all the way to the cleaning crews. Brent Stolenberg was our Supervisor and was invaluable with his experience, consciousness and ideas. He never missed a call, text or email. We built in Florida as our second home and lived out of state during the process. This did not matter as

I have worked with First Florida for the past 5 years now. They have built my clients home, which caused me to have to communicate with them sometimes on a daily basis. They have an expedited way of solving problems. They think outside the box and are great to work with. The skill set and quality they provide cannot be matched. They have great follow through and most importantly they answer the phone!I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed.

I have had a working relationship with First Florida for several months and every interaction is incredibly professional. We used First Florida to completely renovate a condo on Hutchinson Island. Paul, Mark and the entire team were fantastic. What a great job they did. Condo came out beyond expectations. And on pretty much on schedule. This is a very professional group who know how to be a true GC. We look forward to working with them again!

We recently purchased a home in Vero Beach that had been built by First Florida Development in 2005/6. The home is of the highest quality. Shortly after we moved in we discovered a structural problem that was the result, we learned later, of the architect. We feared the worst.
I contacted FFD by email. The president of the company responded. Even though the problem was not of their doing, they found a cost effective solution and did the work quickly with a high level of craftsmanship.
