Bunyon Bros. Tree Service owns several modern chippers which meet or exceed all safety standards and are registered with the state air pollution control district. Our standard chippers are capable of handling wood up to 18 in diameter for green waste composting. We've recently added a new whole tree chipper that's capable of taking whole trees and reducing them into high quality wood chips with ease.
Bunyon Bros. owns several large cranes with varying capabilities. We have in-house lifting solutions for rough terrain, tight spots, unconventional lifts, and long reaches. Fantastic work on our Property, would recommend this company to anyone needing tree cutting services. They were able to cut our giant 200ft Cyprus tree limbs so it would be 10ft from the house. They were able to still keep the beauty of the tree intact! Again will definitely recommend this company due to the punctuality and professionalism of James Haas and Bunyon Brothers.

We purchased a house a while back, prior owner appeared to not take care of the tree in the front yard. I looked at companies but Bunyon had the best response times and ease of working with. So, we had Bunyon Bro's come out early on to take care of the tree. This year we decided to do a major cut back as the tree was just too heavy. They did a fantastic job! We'll still have shade for the summer, but now the front yard is open and airy. James Haas and Crew #4 you rock!! :) See you again in a year or two!

We had a pretty massive cleanup job needed for our Douglas fir trees in the backyard. This company was beyond amazing. Crew #4 came out and went above and beyond. I had crew #4 come out today for 3 Sycamore trees that needed thinning and shaping. What a group of total professionals! All three huge trees look fabulous and they left my place spotlessly clean! Not one thing was even close to a negative! All 100% great work and such nice guys too! Couldn't ask for anything better! If you're reading this online? Look no further! This is one super company! I'm sure I don't need to add to the chorus of great reviews for these guys, but here goes.... We have an absolute BEAST of an American Maple that has dropped two huge limbs and threatened to damage our house and our neighbor's house. It got to the point that whenever it was windy or stormy, my husband and I couldn't even sleep worrying what this ancient overgrown thing might do. Bunyon Bros came in and gave it a serious cut-down and left foliage on the tree so it would still look pretty. They worked quickly, were so pleasant and friendly, and completed the job a half hour

They do ok work. But. They did my neighbors palms and trees. All the chips. The Cuttings. Parts of the palms are on my front yard. Roof. Both Cars. Back yard. I just washed my car and it is a dust bin with chips and dust. thanks to these guys and the wind. Not a service I'd Get. Bad clean up. Disappointed to see.

This review is for the customer service of the receptionist. I'm sure not many people provide reviews like this , but she was so professional and courteous that I felt compelled. I called in to set up an estimate for tree services on my property and she was friendly , helpful, and nice even though they were obviously busy since their phones were off the hook, and she was especially professional even though they actually close in 10 minutes ! I didn't feel rushed or hurried off the phone which was very nice . I will update this review once I get the estimate and if I end up going with

The crew was here to clear our Spectrum internet cable of tree branches and limbs growing between the street and our house. It is running about 240 feet through overgrown oak trees along our driveway. Thanks to James Hass and his crew of Gustavo, Dieter and Harley (crew #4). They immediately introduced themselves and were polite the entire time and made sure to explain what they were doing and to answer any questions. The wood was all cut and stacked neatly for us and the driveway was blown clean before they left.

I saw my neighbor across the way getting their trees trimmed so I contacted that neighbor and asked if I could call them to maybe do mine as well. She gave me their number, I called and that day someone was at my house within an hour. They bid the job and said they thought they could do it the same day. Team Four came out to do the job and they were so nice and really did an amazing job - those guys worked their bums off! My junipers were HUGE and I asked them to whack them in half. My wife called to get a stump removed. After receiving a quote, they were supposed to call by a certain date to let us know when they were going to come remove the stump once they reviewed their schedule. No call. So my wife called them. The first employee had no knowledge of our job, the second she called (told to call from the first guy) said his stump grinder was broken and he would call us Monday. No call on Monday. So someone else did this work for us instead of Bunyon Brothers. All I appreciate is communication and honesty. They provided neither. So I do not recommend you use them.

Will and the team spent several days at our ranch turning it from a jungle into a gorgeous "park". They carefully pruned the oak trees so that you can't even tell they were touched, but I saw how much they removed from each tree. The crew was courteous, respectful of the property, and always explained what the would be doing that day before they started.
They removed several invasive and non-native trees that opened up the view from the property, while preserving the natural beauty of our native oaks.

I can not say enough about the service we received from Bill, Papi and the crew. Bill, the Certified Arborist, came out multiple times to adjust the quote since I changed my mind on what I wanted done. We had a pretty technical job and I had three companies come out to advise us on how to get a specific tree out. I felt the most comfortable with Bill and their bid was fair given the difficulty of the job.
Our job took two days and each day the crew showed up on time and left my house and my neighbor's yard clean and tidy. All the men on the crew were very polite, friendly and professional

The Bunyon Bros. Crew have worked on my acreage several times with great results.I contacted them because they were recommended by other tree trimmers who were intimidated by the size of my trees and the steep terrain.
I developed a tree removal plan with Ron Rinell that was completely different from what I thought I needed. His plan was much better than mine !That is the first way to get good value from a big job- use their experience.
The next benefit to get is to have a plan to use the chips on site.They make great weed-control mulch and it saves the cost of hauling the chips back to Bunyon

Needed two huge palm trees removed right next to our home. Bunyon Bros were professional, affordable, and did amazing work. I would recommend their service to anyone. If you are having big trees removed by your house dealing with an insured company like Bunyon is the only way to go. It was the peace of mind knowing if something went wrong we were covered. The best in the central coast.
