I had the best experience ever with this roofing company, Stu the owner was awesome, when he first came out to give me a quote I felt very comfortable with him, he answered all of my questions and he was so friendly and he gave me a very good price for a new roof including new gutters. He wasn't trying to over charged me like some roofing company's do. He was not money hungry. He told me that it is an family owned company him and his brother who I had the pleasure to meet on the day they installed my roof, and Stu even showed up to make sure all was going well. It was a pleasure to work with J & S. we had suffered roof damage from a recent tornado and from the get-go they were sympathetic.I never felt like they were trying to take advantage of the situation. Stu & his team did an excellent job! They answered all of my questions (i had no idea about what was involved in roof replacement)and the roof looks great and it was done in 1 day! J&S Family Roofing was a pleasure start to finish . The roof replacement process for us was excruciating until J&S returned our call . Two different roofing companies promised and did not deliver courtesy yet alone service . After getting the run around from others, dealing with J&S was seamless. The office staff was responsive, informative, helpful and friendly. Stu showed up when he said he would. Very pleased with the process, from start to finish. Communications were clear and the work done was excellent, at the right cost. Very professional and quick to respond. On day on install the weather wasn’t looking the best but returned promptly and did an excellent job. Had the old roof torn off and new one within 6 hours. After inspecting the lawn, not even a speck of trash. Will use again and recommend to anyone and everyone!

J & S Roofing had been recommended to me by my friend, who just had theirs replaced. They couldn't say enough good things about the company and workmanship. Stu came out and took a look at my roof, it was in bad shape after only 8 1/2 years old and had started leaking into my house. my old shingles were so bad they were falling apart. I needed another new roof. I have never worked with any contractor who right from the start was professional, punctual, the office could not have been nicer, responded to any emails or calls either at once or a very quick follow up.

I highly recommend J&S Family Roofing. They were prompt, professional and personable in coming out to provide a free estimate. They walked through the details of the materials as well as the process and the followed through better than expected. They were on time and installed our new roof quickly and smoothly and were done sooner than I anticipated. The gutter installation also went better than expected. Using J&S gave us the confidence that we got the best value for a big home improvement.

I highly recommend J & S Family Roofing. I had them replace my roof a few years ago and since then Stu has been so nice in helping me deal with a leak that was hit or miss. He didn't have to as it wasn't a roofing issue. It took a bit of investigating but, the skylight was the culprit. I had J & S remove it and no more leak. I decided to get the gutters replaced and the guys were so skilled and accommodating. Very nice people to work with, quick, efficient and reasonable pricing.

I recently purchased a new roof after learning my existing one was leaking, it was very unexpected and I had a lot of questions and emotions. Everyone at J&S family roofing was empathetic and genuine at every interaction; everyone is either family or has been with J&S long enough they might as well be. Very disappointed in this roofer. Years ago had used him but something has changed about the owner, Stu Ochs. He is surly, arrogant and testy. He did not show up to supervise work and took a very long time to finish the job he started. He also did not seem knowledgeable about the type of roof we were getting and actually subbed it out to another roofing company and never told us he would be doing this. Look elsewhere for a roofer.
