LEED is a green building certification system, providing verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies that improve energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Melloul-Blamey's roots come from Public tender and invited tenders - we have successfully prepared and procured lump sum bids for projects ranging from $50,000 to over $100 Million. These contracts typically involve construction documents and drawings prepared by architects from which general contractors submit a fixed price where the lowest price is most often awarded the job.
Our approach to Construction Management can best be described as "cooperative". To accomplish this, we partner with our consultants, subtrades, and you to create most effective solutions within an affordable budget. The construction schedule is accelerated, by condensing several steps in the traditional process;.
For a Design-Build project, Melloul-Blamey is contracted to lead the team of architects, engineers and sub-trades from design through to completion. The project is quoted as a single lump sum price, and we ensure single source responsibility through direct communication with the owner so that we can successfully deliver the project.
We provide vertically-integrated development and construction management to a variety of real estate projects. As the Development Manager, we guide the development process, coordinate the broader development team, and serve as the central point for communication and decision making. Since our inception in 1982 we have been fortunate to have worked with leading organizations across all real estate asset classes.

Our company used Melloul-Blamey as a general for our retro-fit project. They were professional, communicative, and offered a lot of value add ideas along the way. All in our project wrapped up ahead of schedule and on budget. Our new office space looks amazing, and our manufacturing floor fits us perfectly.
