The installers broke a pipe under my sink causing flooding throughout my kitchen. They just stood there and let the water flow until I was able to get to the main shutoff valve and turn off the water.
The installers just stood there with bewildered looks on their faces after the water was stopped. I had to grab every towel in the house to dry the floor. They were absolutely zero help as I scrambled to get the water sopped up.
The installer attempted to lie to me that the water wasn't shut off to the sink even though I could see that they broke the pipe off the wall. Once faced with their

Vicki and her team were fantastic. they worked with me to help me get the stone I liked the best. the installers we polite they cleaned up and it looks fantastic. Every morning when i walk into the kitchen i look at the counter tops and think to my self wow that is a beautiful stone, shocking that its natural all the colors, gold and peal flakes. two years later i called Vicki and said i found a chip in it and asked how to get it fixed. she sent some guys out and they fixed it for free. with out a doubt one of the best changes to my house.

Great experience at Heartland! Was blown away with their showroom options and the organized / no pressure process they have to review options on their floor. Vicki S was fantastic to deal with and saved the day with a great granite suggestion after reviewing some sample stone pieces I had. Measuring was state of the art with CMM equipment taking guess work out of what my project required. Install was quick and professional. Will certainly be back for more projects! Thanks !!

I called for a price on two vanity tops, I knew the brand of quartz and the the color. A man answered the phone and took my information, the next thing he asked what my budget was, I said I want the tops out of this product,. He asked again what my budget was and he wasn’t sure that I was the type of customer they want. Needless to say I would not buy anything from them after this discussion. I am having the tops made in Addison. I guess my money was good somewhere!

We had Heartland install new kitchen countertops and could not be happier. Thanks to Patsy for her advice and help in picking the right material. There was so much to choose from. The installation was long, but we appreciated the craftsmanship our installers demonstrated to deal with some tricky angles. Even our plumber said it was the best job he's ever seen. Highly recommend this business.

They do not follow up and will not stand behind what they sell! We purchased new GRANITE kitchen countertops which immediately water stained. (These countertops were replacements for the original ones we bought from Heartland Granite that were incorrectly installed with a seam over the dishwasher that would continually separate.) It took MONTHS for Heartland Granite to come out and reseal the countertops. After the resealing, they stained again. I called another company to have them sealed, thinking I would just handle it. The other company refused to take our money because we don't have

So pleased with my granite choice! Product is all indoors and easy to view. Staff is so friendly and helpful, made the process much more pleasant!
***UPDATE***
The granite is in and looks amazing! My kitchen presented a few challenges, but the installers were very patient and took their time to make sure the fit was perfect. They were not in a rush to get on to the next job. My kitchen was their #1 priority and it shows. I am so happy with the granite. It was a big decision for me and I am stunned with the granite. I'm so glad that I went with my heart and chose the product that I loved the minute

My granite counter tops were installed this afternoon!
My experience with Heartland Granite was seamless, pun intended, because I couldn't even tell there was a seam!
The overall process was smooth. It all started with a journey through the vast assortment of Natural Stone. I was able to walk up and down aisles and view full slabs.
Once I chose my material they scheduled an appointment for a measurer to come out to my home. He was very professional.
Next, I was asked to come in and actually hand place clear templates on the slabs I chose, so I could capture the exact part of the stone

Avoid the headache. Terrible customer service. Had a masterbath countertop installed. Not sealed correctly. Any water would darken granite as well as any glass,container...would leave dark ring. Backsplash also had very dark edge compared to the rest of the top. Finally after 2 weeks they sent someone out who put some paste on the edge, covered in wax paper and said that would take care of it. Also assured us the rings would go away. Put another coat of sealer on. Nothing has changed and I've left messages with no response. Wish I had read the reviews before we chose them.

Like others my experience with heartland was unpleasant. When they came to install the countertops one of the was cut 1 1/2 inches short. Was told by the installer that heartland would call me to replace the countertop still waiting for that call. I took a day off of work for the install and now it looks like i will have to take another day off whenever they decide to replace it. They have poor customer service. Was never offered any compensation for all the inconvenience. I also was told that it would be a 7 day turnaround for the original install. From the time i put down a deposit

Sales People were friendly and nice. During the day of the install the installers cracked the granite due to them dropping it on the counter too hard. Heartland Refused to replace without putting in a seam or offered any discount for the issue. If it would have been properly carried in with 3 or 4 people it would have not cracked when installed. This crack did not happen when carrying the granite or during transport it was the fact they smacked it down hard. Not a satisfied customer.

I decided to use my contractor's granite people and wish I had gone back to Heartland. I used Heartland 9 years ago for my new kitchen renovation and they were excellent. No problems, they spoke English, which if you have shopped granite, you will find many people who don't speak English very well. My current job was done by Stanley's Marble & Granite, Bridgeview. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! Thank God I am not living there or need to move in any time soon cause this job will go on to fix all the mistakes.
GO WITH HEARTLAND. It may cost you a tiny bit more than the places run poorly but you will have total

We had our kitchen countertops done in granite and our sink installed by Heartland. We noticed a support and anchor screw assembly on the floor under the sink. The whole thing had fallen out. It was one of the supports that holds the sink up. I called Heartland granite and they said it would be a $150.00 dollar service call to reinstall it since it was over one year. Really?! I said that was not acceptable and this was poor workmanship and they needed to correct it. They asked "is the sink sagging". I said no. Then don't worry about it. Needless to say I will NOT be doing business

I must say ... I was probably a difficult customer for them because it took me 2.5 yrs to finally select my granite. I looked around their showroom and warehouse a number of times. The sales staff always treated me perfectly fine and was patient with my indecisiveness. They never pushed me to make a selection I would not be happy with.
When I finally found the slab I wanted, it was one of the more pricier ones but it was so completely unique that I had to purchase it. They worked with me to help align to my budget - e.g. kept my original sink which was actually perfectly fine. And although

Very poor after sales service. Heartland installed $10k worth of granite in my kitchen and failed to properly shim the island area. When I phoned them to schedule a service visit, they repeatedly failed to return my calls and emails. The sales person whom I dealt with even told me not to worry about it when clearly the granite would flex if it was leaned upon. Basically it took over 2 1/2 weeks to get a technician out to address the issue. With so many granite houses in the area, I would say that there are more reliable outlets from which to purchase your stone.

When I remodeled my kitchen back in Jan. 2007, this is where I got my granite countertops. I was so happy with crazy size of the granite selection in their warehouse - I looked at literally hundreds of different types. And, after the saleswoman faxed me some estimates and I nearly cried about how expensive they were (I have a knack for being instinctively drawn to the priciest everything), she gave me a personal tour of the few dozen discounted colors. From those, I picked between two beautiful colors that were unlike anything I'd seen elsewhere, and WAY cheaper that the boring entry-level
