My wife and I have used them when we first moved in. We were able to make copies of our keys no problem. However, when I went today at 11am to make copies for our cat sitters, the man who came to the counter looked at me and then my keys and said "I need a letter of authorization". I explained I've made copies with them in the past and other places, and have never had to show letter of authorization. He says nothing and just says I need a letter. Neither was a "Do Not Copy".

Boo! My friend and I walked in here to get a duplicate key for her 2000 Toyota Camary. First off, there was a guy sitting at the counter talking to a women behind a key making factory looking area (literally, there were rows and rows of keys on the back wall behind her - so random).
They simply couldn't be bothered by the fact that we had just walked in the store and continued their conversation about keys:
Guy: "what do you do with all those keys that people don't claim?"
Woman: "Oh we donate them and give them away."
Guy: "that's a lot of keys."
