We hired Athens Arborist to prune 1,200 of our residential street trees that were all at different maturities and species. They did a great job, were easy to deal with and were very professional. The owners of the company were onsite performing the work which made us very comfortable that things would be handled correctly.

Athens Arborist did such a respectful job at our business on Prince Avenue that we would not have another service at our home ever again. So this week when Joseph came out to handle some threatening trees he once again reminded me how dang good he is at what he does, polite, and mighty considerate of the trees. He even talked us out of taking one down because he thought he could do some things to save it. Looking out for us and Nature, as well as our wallet...win win!

We called the folks at Athens Arborist and they were able to come out that same afternoon to give us an estimate for taking out a tree and grinding its stump. We were able to schedule the work just a few days later. Joseph and his team were fast and courteous, and cleaned up after themselves. Because he had been out of town the day of service, the team member who does stump grinding came the next day to finish up the job. Again, fast and courteous service. We will definitely use Athens Arborist again the next time we want a tree removed.

Great service! I contacted Athens Arborists and another local tree company about having multiple trees removed, two areas cleared and stumps ground. Brad was very polite and knowledgeable. He clearly communicated and followed up and they arrived when they said they would. He and Joseph made quick work of our trees, bushes and areas to be cleared and the entire job, including cleanup was done the same day. I highly recommend Athens Arborists to anyone needing quality tree work done by kind people who know what they're doing, at an excellent price.

Joseph and his brother Brad have cut three trees for us. Two were huge and close to the house. The other one was a mature, but partially dead oak in the middle of a day lily bed in full bloom. These two young men are very professional, polite, and well- spoken and definitely know what they are doing. Their approach is very methodical and they work well together. They have good equipment that will handle huge trees. We weren't here when they cut the two large trees in the back and only knew they had been here because the trees were gone. Clean up was exceptional and not a twig was left on the ground

I have been using Joseph Cox (Athens Arborist) for 5 years now and I wouldn't trust my trees with anyone else. Joseph is honest and very knowledgeable about his field and has helped not only with tree removal for me, but also he worked hard to help extend the life of an oak I had that wasn't the healthiest. When it was time for the oak to finally come down, he was very helpful and informative when it came time to plant another tree in its place. I find that he is very easy to contact, and is quick to respond and always gets the job done when he says he will. 5-plus stars for Athens Arborist!
