The Artisan Shop is committed to green building standards and the shop is a great example of this. The Artisan Shop has two custom cabinets showrooms/design centers in Colorado to serve you. Our Loveland showroom is attached to our state-of-the-art factory. Our newest showroom is in downtown Boulder, conveniently located on 28th Street just north of Valmont.

A year ago, I worked with the Artisan Shop on remodeling my 1960s Fort Collins home. The remodel was extensive, and the Artisan Shop provided cabinets for the Kitchen and Laundry on the Main floor. I could not be happier with the product or the service i received from the Artisan Shop.
The advice I received from both Kathleen and James was 100% correct. In fact it was their advice that first made me chose the Artisan Shop. They guided me towards a design that updated the decor of our home while still paying tribute to its mid-century heritage.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The cabinets are made on site. You can have a tour of the entire cabinet making process. Brandon gave us a tour and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the business he co owns. Our designer Kami was an absolute joy to work with. She was so very patient with us and always flexible with her time. We can't say enough great things about the Artisan Shop. Kami, our sales rep, was wonderful to work with and helped us design a beautiful walnut bathroom cabinet with wide set drawers as well as a big wet bar with appliance wood panels and a floating shelf. We went with Artisan not only for their outstanding reputation but also because they were able to provide cabinets that looked more like a built in piece of furniture rather than just your standard cabinets. After working with James, he gave me a quote that included one number - the total cost. I have called various cabinet companies and 3 out of 10 conduct business in this way, so not unheard of. James kept saying "I do not want to get into the cost of each hinge", which felt scripted and way off base for what an informed customer is looking for. Their quality appears good, but a client ought to know the way they conduct business before approaching. Some people are okay with this set up, others are not.

After looking around at the "competition" The Artisan Shop really blew me away with the overall quality and care put into their process from start to finish. A tour of the production shop really puts things into perspective when you see how much design work and labor is actually involved in building something as simple as wood door. The employees seem happy to be there and have no problem demonstrating or explaining one of the machines for you. One of the cleanest, most professional shops I've had the pleasure to see! This place is not friendly! Very high pressure sales and slanders other cabinet companies in the area, which I found very distasteful. Was told they would not make a specialty cabinet for me unless I bought a "bigger package" (whole house since its new construction) Even though they were substantially more expensive and pressured me to sign a contract before they would finish the cabinet designing process which means I didn't even have a total dollar amount!!
