Woolsey Construction was founded in 2007 by San Diego native Luke Woolsey. After working in general construction for several years, Luke acquired his General B license and started in the construction industry through real estate investing and residential construction. After going through the process of purchasing, renovating, and selling property, Luke decided to use his knowledge and experience to build a company.

We worked with Woolsey Construction to build a granny flat using the new County pre-approved ADU plans. From start to finish, Luke and his team helped us feel comfortable with a big project. Clear communication, excellent workmanship, and the years of experience are what sets Woolsey Construction apart.
If you've tried building in California, you know how hard it is to find good contractors. We have a few additional renovations to do in the future and we're definitely going to work with them again.

Highly recommend Woolsey Construction! After a few personal recommendations we called WC to repair our slab leak. This was our first time hiring a contractor and so glad that we did. Luke took the time to help us assess the situation and walked us through our options and the eventual process. The bid was reasonable and we had peace of mind that we were in good hands. The project was completed within the expected timeframe and budget. The workers were respectful, organized and clean. Thank you again very much!

Woolsey Construction (Luke, brother Seth, and team including Israel & Alan), are the best contractors I've worked with in San Diego, on any project. And this one was big and complicated. They stayed exactly true to their bid (slightly under, in fact), they worked on their predicted timeline, their work was very high quality, and they were uniformly INTELLIGENT and knowledgeable. I collected three different bids and consulted with an engineer and another experienced contractor, and Woolsey was the only contractor whose diagnosis, plan for repair, aesthetic sensitivities, and price estimates

Woolsey Construction is a highly recommended team by my better half and me. We had them remodel our kitchen and expand our dining area wall, adding French Doors. Luke was highly recommended by another contractor that we work with. Luke was professional from initial meeting to the final walk through. Extreme attention to detail and follow through. Quality of work is excellent. His team is respectful, focused and is clean as possible while getting the job done in the time promised.

We did a backyard renovation last year, and Woolsey Construction was one of the builders who bid on our job. Luke Woolsey came to our home, was punctual and professional, and gave us a bid that was competitive. We picked another contractor solely on the basis that he had previously done work for us, but absent that fact, Luke Woolsey would have gotten our business. I'm giving him 4 out of 5 stars only because we didn't see his work first hand, and not because of any reservations we had on Woolsey Construction. If you are looking for a professional contractor, I say call Woolsey Construction
