Through the success and influence of returning customers, a wider range of services were added, leading to the expansion of the company's services. Paint Boy is still home to the original painters which started the company and is now a division of Builder Boy, Inc. - a full service general contractor.
Established in 1994, Builder Boy is a full service general contractor, license no. 986389, with skilled craftsmen and tradesmen specializing in home additions, kitchen and bath remodels, complete stucco services, cabinet refinishing, custom concrete work, epoxy floors, custom painting, complete drywall and texture service, electrical, plumbing, color and design selection, and historical renovations.

We hired Jereme and his team at builder boy to be the GC on our extensive remodel pictured below. We had him do most everything on job which included gutting the structure down to the studs, reconfiguring the floor plan, adding structural reinforcements to create an open floor plan, re-wiring and plumbing the 5 unit complex, insulating it, installing shear paneling, stucco from scratch, and all the finish work.

Jereme, You took us to small claims for going with another countertop company after you gave us the okay when your vendor didn't carry what we wanted. You admitted in court that your parents are enjoying the double ovens, cooktop, and vent you took from our house. We had to hire another contractor to fix the drywall catastrophe your company made in my kitchen that you got paid for and did not refund us for. You also got paid to install a backsplash that didn't get done. You DID hire a buddy from Carson Electric to put in an upgraded electrical box that only half the house is hooked up

In less than one year the paint applied to the eaves and fascia board started peeling off my house. Over the last four months I complained numberous times to the company and they did nothing except to send their wimpy president to my house to see the poor job his company did. His repeated promises never amounted to anything. I think this company should change its name to Wimpy Paint Boy.

Amazing work!! I love the new paint in my house! I found my dream home earlier this year but the paint was just off...jailhouse gray and light blue. I had a short amount of time before I moved in but they were very accomodating to my schedule and got the job done. After the wonderful work done by Paint Boy, I walk in to my home and it feels much warmer and more welcoming. The attention to detail on how everything was painted is fantastic. I could not be happier with how everything turned out! I will definitely recommend Paint Boy to my friends and family.

We hired Paint Boy to paint the interior of our 3 bed and 2 bath house, and they did an amazing job. We were in a bit of a rush to get it painted, so we could start moving in, and they got the job done within a few days! I hired Paint Boy to do the entire interior of my 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house and I have to say I would recommend these guys to anyone. They did an amazing job in a timely manner and we're very kind and professional . I had gotten two other estimates other than Paint Boy and their prices were the most reasonable. The good:
Paint boy worked with me to get my door to a good final condition.
The bad:
It took four rounds of finishing/refinishing the door to get it right:
1) The first time they tried to finish the door by hand, with paint brushes, while it hung on the hinges. The result was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
2) The second time they took the door back to their shop and sprayed the door. The door was then installed back on the hinges with very obvious discolorations (milky white bands in the clearcoat). The edges of the door were not finished, nor were the edges around the windows

My fiance and I hired these yahoos to paint our new front door. The job was screwed up from the word "go." First they said they couldn't get the paint we wanted, then they didn't show up at all, then they showed up without the paint and by the time the door was finally painted, they put it back on while it was still wet because they didn't have time to finish the job. Of course, the paint then stuck to the new weather stripping and ruined it. It also peeled a bunch of paint off the door. I had a small painting project that was part of the kitchen remodel I contracted with BB. Everything was completed on time and to my satisfaction. It was a small job which is why I have rated 4 instead of 5 stars. I plan to possibly use them in the future for a larger project which I will be able to review more thoroughly.

We had our Belmont Heights 8 unit condo building painted by painter boy. We had quotes from 5,500 to - 12,000. Painter boy gave us that low figure with materials included. The work was completed in a week. The workers were very engaged and mindful of the residents. I think they had to hire a man lift unexpectedly. We never heard a word about additional cost, no pleas, rare with bid work. We are very happy with the work and highly recommend this company.

Jereme James's reply to my review is not true. I never expected them to replace parts of my home. I expected them to do a professional job as they promised when bidding on the job. True he brought in a third party to attempt to rectify the problem but they also were not able to fix it. I just had a neighbor ask me for a recommendation for a house painter. I warned her to stay away from this company.

Paint Boy remodeled our facility at the end of last year. they did a fantastic job especially because they had to work around our busy schedule. They were able to get all the painting and stripping of the front lobby done in one weekend, leaving minimal dust and dirt for us for clean up. All of his staff members were very professional and listened to all of our requests. We would do business with this company again in the future.

After we exhausted ourselves restoring a 1920's craftsman style house, we decided to hire Paint Boy to do the exterior & interior painting. BAD decision. While the regular staff seemed to know what they were doing, they hired a crew of yahoos to do the work and did not keep an eye on what they did.
I caught them puttying over the bead board eves destroying this lovely detail. They did not use the paint brand I asked for claiming theirs was better (it is peeling less than 2 years later) but found out they get a better price because they do volume purchases with them.

I randomly selected PaintBoy to do a complete kitchen remodel and after they had begun working, I read the review by rv a. I then became overwrought with concern, worried about what the outcome of my remodel was going to be. Now, as of yesterday, it was completed and I couldn't be more pleased with the work they did. It was exactly what I wanted, though it took a couple of days longer than scheduled, however, I'm thrilled to death and I would definitely refer my friends and acquaintances without hesitation. My kitchen looks amazing!

I am thoroughly pleased with the paint job I got on my house. The team that Paint Boy sent out to do the work, Ventura and Javier, did a fantastic job on my home, and did it in the time frame they promised at the beginning of the project. They took alot of pride in their work and my home reaped the benefits. I selected Paint Boy after receiving several quotes and I made the best choice, hands down. I now no longer have the eyesore on the block, I now have the best looking house on the block. This company is highly recommended!
