As a Project Architect the candidate would be knowledgeable in program development, code review, budget development, and specification writing. Computer proficiency including Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office is required. The position involves all phases of design and technical drawing production with the ability to produce and review project construction drawings and details.
Services
The Owners/Partners are Registered Architects Jerrel Schomberg, AIA, and Brian Guthrie, CSI. They each have over 30 years of experience and have had the privilege of working on a broad range of building types including residential, educational, religious, municipal, and commercial facilities throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.
Vantage is a full service architectural firm offering a diverse scope of services that will be customized to meet the specific needs of the client. In addition to architectural design services, we offer HVAC, plumbing, and electrical engineering services. We operate on the principle of working fairly and equitably to promote mutual growth and achieve highest standards.
A Master Plan is a blueprint for the future. It is a comprehensive document, with a long-range view that is intended to guide development. Master Planning sets public policies regarding growth and development. The information and concepts presented in the master plan are intended to guide decisions on uses of land, as well as the provision of the public facilities.
Project programming is everything you need to know before drawing. It is a process that the architect leads a client through to identify and articulate what the project's objectives and constraints are now and in the future. This process will involve our asking questions then listening. At the end of the process we will establish the project design objectives, by making a list of needs, wants, and priorities in written and numerical form.
Site analysis is a vital step in the design process. It involves the evaluation of an existing or potential site in relation to the development program, environmental impact, impacts on the community and adjacent properties, project budget, and schedule. In the site analysis process Vantage Architects identifies environmental, program, and development constraints and opportunities.
