As supporters of Our Community Birth Center gathered to cut a rainbow cord - better suited than the traditional. We tip our hats to Dustrud Architecture for the design of the new Eugene Ballet headquarters in the Midtown.

Services
Essex General Construction is a commercial general contractor with offices in Eugene and Portland Oregon. We were founded by Jon Texter in Eugene Oregon in 1987. Throughout the years we've built a variety of commercial buildings throughout Western Oregon. Many of our projects have been negotiated. We've also participated in many publicly bid projects.

I've been watching Essex since 1998 when they were putting up the Heron Building on the corner of 6th and Olive. I got the chance to work for them in 1999 and jumped at the chance. And here I am, almost 20 years later and I couldn't be happier I chose Essex. I especially like the feeling of family, even though we've grown quite a bit. It really feels like a team and there are smiles around me all day!!!! Thanks, Essex!!
